Doubling down on the JAQing off maneuver, I see. It's tedious, unrewarding to everyone else, and menial, but hey, every board needs a few guys like you in order to achieve such highly feats as hitting 100 or 1000 pages of content for a thread.

No one is overplaying anything, other you with your pursuit of spewing ignorance masquerading as needed caution for the board, as a self-nominated Team Mom to keep us all grounded and aligned. If Cutcliffe lands for a contender for Arch Manning, that contender becomes the heavy favorite for the player's services.

The fuck is your problem old man? I’m just asking a question about a coach that I’ve never heard of until yesterday. I didn’t realize it would cause you to explode with anger. Aren't you the cheerful cunt that is claiming that our 2023 class is already fucked, even though it’s fucking February? Settle down douche. Make sure to keep us in the loop with your “sources”😂😂

Arguing about bringing in extremely knowledgeable people as advisors who have strong ties to a top recruit is weird even for us. Even if Manning didn’t come here, it is still an insanely good get as an additional resource.

Not arguing about bringing him in at all. His resume speaks for itself and the connection to the family is obvious. My question was regarding whether we are overplaying the impact that his potential hiring has on landing Arch. He clearly made a positive impact on his two uncles, but that was decades ago and college football is not the same game as it was then. More specifically the position is not played the same.

Is Owens a prospect that our boosters could be convinced to go big NIL on?  I know we can't offer him anything official until he enrolls, but can't we tell him what deals he'll get after he arrives on campus?

Offering that much money on an RB is dumb in my opinion. Like the NFL, I would rather spend my money in the trenches, at QB, and linebacker/safety. Develop a solid OL and a 3 star RB can succeed. Owens would be a nice get but don’t think he make or breaks our 2023 class.

Would you prefer people just Looch it up and talk about how super great things look right now?

Can we not have a medium? Maybe not all sunshine and rainbows and ignoring glaring issues but I also don’t think we should declare 2023 a failure when 2022 signing period literally ended yesterday. Lots of shit will change over the next 10 months. Everyone calm down.

    Post-nsd2 roster projection:

    QB (4): Ewers/Card (Wright, Murphy)

    RB (5): Bijan/Roschon/Keilan (Brooks, Blue)

WR (10): Worthy, Whittington, Neyor/Dixon, Washington, Thompson, Omeire (Cain, Alexis, Red)

    TE (4): Billingsley/Sanders (Helm, Davis)

OL (16): Banks, Angilau, Majors, Jones, Karic/Neto, Campbell, Hutson, Conner (Agbo, Parr, Garth, Williams, Hookfin, Merril, Robertson)

DL (19): Mathis*, Collins, Coburn, Ojomo/Murphy, Oghoufu, Broughton, Bush, Tapp, Sweat, Sorrell, Harris, Ross (Thomas, Finkley, Bryant, Bledsoe, Burke, Swanson)

LB (9): Overshown, Ford, TBD*, Brockermeyer/Richardson, Gbenda, Blackwell (Brown, Johnson)

DB (15): Jamison, Cook, Thompson, Watts, TBD*/Barron, Crawford, Allen, Brooks, Gilbeau, Coffey (Johnson, Gooden, Jordan, Brice)

ST (3): Pearson, Stone, St. Louis

Guesses at attrition: Harrison, Liebrock, Dorbah, Warren, Welch, Abiara, Hullaby, Ibraheem

Lot of talent there.  Big coaching challenges in getting newcomers ready to play at a high level early at every position group except RB.  The LB they add needs to be good as that’s currently the least talented unit on the roster.

I’ve said this before, I’m no longer relying on Whittington or Omeire. If they play, that’s great! But those dudes are made of glass and I expect them to be injured a few times next season. Neyor would be my WR2 after X.

Foster had to have some of the worst film you’ll ever see this past year, he routinely just quit on plays. SHSU is about where he belongs after that shit show. Maybe he will put in some effort in Huntsville so he can get some good tape.

Good tape for what? After SHSU his football career is essentially over unless he wants to play in Poland or some shit.
