How long you been sitting on this gif?
much to my amazing, lovely wife’s chagrin, i possess supreme search skills as i simultaneously cackle with glee and gaze across a peaceful valley from the porch of a fabulous adobe perched on the side of a mountain whilst on vacation, breaking the silence that envelopes both she and i.
“Kyrie, goddammit, really? now?”
”my love, shaggy exist for this very reason and moment. now fetch me the finest meats and cheeses from across the land.”
”go hate fuck your own face.”
ahhhh…

political expression is covered by the 1st amendment and enforceable under §1983 (for example, an employer cannot fire or discipline an employee for exercising their right to vote in a particular manner or toward a particular party). removing internal guidelines won't change well settled law in this regard.

Some people just suck at marching. However, one would think for a big event like this they wouldn't pick those people to be marching.
some people in fact do suck at it. but watch the video at the link, that’s an entire company who appears to suck at marching…and there’s zero possibility that an entire unit simultaneously sucks at marching.
that was by design…a silent but very obvious protest. the question is who are what they’re protesting. was it that they had to be there, was it Trump, was it Hegseth?
one of my offices is in Harker Heights, and about 1/3 of our clients in that office are associated in some capacity with the Army, be it active, retired, guard or reserve. i’ve asked a few of our clients in leadership positions how the transition is going and unprompted you instantly get some form of “man, fuck SecDef deep in his goat ass.”
@scottsins can verify…
so my money is that’s directed towards and meant to embarrass Hegseth

lol…
this ended up projecting the exact opposite image to the world they were hoping for…instead of strength, we projected weakness; instead of solidarity, we exposed division; instead of organization, we showed chaos and disorder; instead of shared interest and mission, there was apathy in abundance; and on and on, ad infinitum.
we just exposed to the entire world…if they didn’t already know…the utter incompetence of our leadership and we used what is considered to be strongest military force known to mankind as the vehicle to convey that message.
Trump and his goons truly believe that fear of us and concern for consequences are what motivates other nations to deal with us…they are the very core of their ontology. in real life at that level that is rarely the case. but if they were a factor, they are no longer.
Trump flipped over a 3 of clubs after he acted like he was holding an ace of spades. and he didn’t even need to play that card…he did it on his own
we now may as well lay back, relax and enjoy the inevitable sodomy that is sure to come our way because there’s not a goddamn thing we can do about it.

Seth Moulton…
has all the right intangibles and background/narrative, and now has a few years experience under his belt.
when the opportunity arises, he should start some real shit and tear a new asshole into the right target.

Yep. I’ll probably have a short trip overseas later this year. My plan is the same that it always is: if they want to search my phone, nope. It has access to privileged client info, I can’t and won’t grant access (PW only, no biometric access). They will detain me and confiscate my phone.
1) fuck it, I’ve been delayed in airports plenty.
2) I can buy another phone.
3) the govt hassling me, a successful American with zero criminal record, would be a good story. I wish a motherfucker would.-

That's like asking "so, any of you fellas ever thought of dumping Rosie O'Donnell to get with Mama June?"
Humid, MAGA, full of meth-addled shitheels, hurricanes all the fucking time, uninsurable properties galore.....how on earth is that an upgrade in any way? I mean, I guess the beaches in the panhandle are nicer than ours. There, I've covered the sole advantage I can think of.
ummm...

order creates more chaos…

A federal court on Wednesday ruled President Trump does not have the authority under economic emergency legislation to impose sweeping global tariffs.
Why it matters: The U.S. Court of International Trade's ruling could bring the administration's trade war to a screeching halt.
By blocking entirely most categories of tariffs, the court effectively wiped out most of the regime Trump put in place since taking office.
Driving the news: The court, ruling in two separate cases, issued a summary judgment throwing out all the tariffs Trump imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, or IEEPA.
Trump used the 1977 law, which had never before been invoked in a tariff situation, to unilaterally impose sweeping trade levies worldwide.
The two groups of plaintiffs — businesses and states — sued on the grounds that the president's orders violated the Constitution's grant of authority over import duties to Congress.
The administration filed a notice of appeal soon after the ruling, per multiple reports.
Zoom in: "The question in the two cases before the court is whether the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 ("IEEPA") …
"The court does not read IEEPA to confer such unbounded authority and sets aside the challenged tariffs imposed thereunder."
Tariffs imposed under a different legal authority called Section 232 — including on imports of autos, steel and aluminum — are unaffected by the ruling.
For the record: The court, which gets relatively little attention compared to most other federal courts, has jurisdiction over civil cases arising from trade disputes.
The three judges who heard the case were Reagan, Obama and Trump appointees

you’re not wrong re: the sentiment, but the vast majority of land in Texas is privately owned, with the second biggest chunk being state owned.
only 1.9% of the land in Texas is federally owned. which means this is meh issue for nearly all Texans. only a minuscule number are even going to know about this, and even then it’ll mostly be a combination of hikers, campers, Sierra Club folks and hunters who lottery hunt out west.
I’m 3 of the 4, so i personally hope Mike Lee gets a red hot fire poker shoved up his ass by some pissed of gang of campers.
