  1. Stuck in NJ for 4 days because United keeps cancelling all their flights for "weather" while every other carrier is leaving the area. For the first time in my life I got into with a gate agent and they even tried to lie about available flights while I had to pull up google and show them what was available. I ate the $1400 ticket and just bought an American Airlines ticket (whom I love) and will finally be getting out. Fuck anything affiliated with that shithole Houston. I have never had 3 flights cancelled in my life let alone a weekend.

Again, FUCK anything Houston related. United, based out of Houston, fuck you too!

We’ll that’s slightly less embarrassing. That being said it still feels like listening to a millennial trying to explain to me how to use a rotary phone.

It’s like just like a vagina, you put one finger in, you swerve it around until you hit the right number, then you pull out and do it again? Did I do it right?

We had to drive at the speed of cow.

I got to see the Azores, or at least the airfield where US transports land. We milled about outside the plane as we were meant to do. The only Azorean person I saw was a cop in a golf cart. She looked kind of like the cop version of Nelly Furtado.

After our plane left, another one full of the next 3rd of our unit landed. Their Lieutenant was a real Strac Trooper and called all his milling-about troops into formation, for some dumb fucking Army control freak reason. The Azorean cops descended upon him and packed him off to jail. There is an old treaty dating back to maybe when Britain fought Napoleon, that the Azores would be neutral. Officer Rambo was charged with "forming troops for battle," as if he was going to order a bayonet charge on a golf cart.

    thats a fantastic story

Well, to be fair...Lajes is the airport on Terceira.  It was a USAF base for a long time.  It's actually where my parents met.  They were teachers at the DoD school there.

Finally got a chance to go there back in 2016 with my Dad.  It. Was. Awesome.  I'd love to go back.

Nice dude, Terceira was fantastic. Exactly like Ireland with no people and 1/5th the cost. I mean seriously would just drive around and nothing but locals and farmland. Great seafood and friendly people. Bom Dia was said about 50000 times.

I think you misunderstand. 200k gives you a lot more in colombia or Portugal than it does in New York where I’m based out of.

200k is not wealthy. My friend. Not even close. I think you misunderstand.

    Doesn’t matter

What's amusing about this guy is the 'holier than thou living abroad' attitude, and his dismissive 'travel choice of dominance' posts, when everything about him says insufferable American that most non-Americans hate.

    Good job, good effort.

Oh yea Americans and I don’t get along because I don’t deepthroat everything that is American. Man let me tell you, foreigners love it because they don’t feel like there with some pastel PFG god loving abortion hating MERICA moron.

He's not wealthy.  He's said multiple times that he lives abroad because he couldn't afford the same lifestyle in the US.  To each his own, but the way he shits on everything that isn't what he would do is Rocko-esque, for sure.

I think you misunderstand. 200k gives you a lot more in colombia or Portugal than it does in New York where I’m based out of.

Word is there are more 1000-pound blue marlin in the Azores than anywhere else on the planet.  Of course, the islands are nice too.

I went after some blacks in Panama at Tropic star. 1000lbs is massive for a blue.

Like I said before it really doesn't do much for the Mexico or Belize trips.  If all I did was go to Mexico once a year I probably wouldn't bother.  Esp if you are landing at a small intl airport like Bergstrom or Hobby on a 73.  Throw in that those flights are seldom banked due to being on a similar time zone.   It makes a massive difference when you are coming off of one of 3-4 supers at large intl airport like SFO, ORD, DFW, JFK etc from Europe or Asia where the airlines bank multiple wide bodies at the same time.  You can easily get 6-7 supers landing within an hour of each other.  That's well over 1000 passengers all at once.

Yea sure it makes sense if all you do is enter the US and ME does the same thing. I don’t live in the US thank god.

In addition to being a gigantic cunt with a strong resemblance to Rocko, you also have a habit of posting shit that is flat out incorrect.

I think discussion of any of these services as being a matter of poors vs. non-poors is absurd, but your post about GE being for the poors when you favor MP is especially absurd given that GE costs $100 and MP is free. If anything is "for the poors", it would be the free service (MP).

Telling people to get out of the country is also laughable considering the only reason to ever use GE would be if you have been out of the country. It's not intended for people who purely fly domestic. WTF are you even suggesting here?

What does any of this have to do with Cabo or anyone's specific preference of travel destination? It's just another case of you stereotyping literally every other person that you believe is unlike you, less well-traveled, and all around inferior. Rocko would at least post his pay stub to convince us of that.

Global Entry is a very simple way to get through customs at basically any U.S. airport when returning from any international destination. That would apply to any of your preferred destinations as well as people who visit Cabo. (I've never been to Cabo, but it seems like a good party destination and I get why other people like it).

Global Entry has helped me multiple times to catch a connecting flight on my way back into the country. Even when I don't have a flight to catch, having a shorter time in U.S. customs is the ultimate goal and it's hard to believe anything is consistently faster than GE. I'm not sure I've ever waited longer than 10 minutes, and I would guess <2 minutes is the norm from my experience.

Mobile Passport is only accepted at certain airports and that number is apparently getting smaller. Why would I want to rely on a program that isn't available everywhere? What happens when you arrive back in the U.S. at an airport that doesn't have it? Wait in the regular customs line with everyone else?

Finally, Global Entry also includes PreCheck. Mobile Passport does not.

There's a very obvious winner here and it's not MP. The only 2 drawbacks to GE are the cost (reimbursable by every decent credit card) and the interview (which I've done once to cover 10 years of membership). Or I suppose if you have a sketchy background and can't pass the interview, then you can't get GE.

    TL:DR
