A couple of things. 1. I, like many older fans, had not kept up with Coach Will, but happy he has been having great success in recent years. I personally think being involved in the Georgia program is a large part of why he is coming now. He has access to the best coaches and analysts in the Georgia/SEC area and probably has a very good idea about who he wants to bring in as secondary coach.
2. I personally "resemble the remark" about 55-60 year old men slowing down. In 2021, as a 56 year old, I landed above the Arctic Circle to teach in a rural Alaska village with very little in the way of conveniences, but also nearly 0 distractions, other than learning to live above the Arctic...e.g. wearing the correct spikes with the correct shoes, having enough layers, staying away from mean dogs, etc. I was also still working on my 2nd Master's Degree, and continued taking grad courses throughout the first year.
Fast forward to my last semester above the Circle and spring of 2024 featured me getting mildly irritated at the kids for no good reason, became increasing frustrated at other nonsense and my neighbor at school noticed I was basically done. I had just turned 59, and was definitely diminished. I only taught one more school year and am now retired.

And I saw something in the first half I have never seen before. The female sideline ref, who seems to work many high profile games, actually threw her flag. She called defensive holding. The only angle shown was from far away and Kirk acted like she made a good call. The lady has appeared to work for several years now.

Simmons is still an amazing head scratcher. Everything about his time on the 40 acres.
Don’t forget Mike Adams assaulting his girlfriend and Lavell Pinkney crashing a car into a business, a car the university had rented for him?
yeah, but also don't forget Edwin Simmons had one leg longer than the other. Allegedly not a small amount either, supposedly half an inch. Led to knee problems.

Georgia vs Ohio State in the semis looks awfully good. I wonder if Oregon is any good? Not surprised in the least that Collin Klein is going back to KSU.
I didn't see any weakness in Indiana. Indy in the championship game looks good, except they will hear how great they are between now and their next game. Could lose focus pretty easily.

UTSA Roadrunners
in Football
UTSA is currently the leader in the clubhouse in bowl games for two categories.....#1 most points....57 and #2 largest margin of victory....37.
Give credit to UTSA's 2nd team offense, outscored opposition 17-0 in fourth quarter the other night.
Traylor definitely trying to make people forget about tough season with huge bowl game victory.
