    Yup.

Plus get a lead early. If we can pin our ears back and play with a lead I think we stomp their asses.

Here is a fucked up question, I know I'd rather win both, but if we had to lose one and win one, which would you rather?

Beat OU in Dallas but lose in the Big12 Championship game.

Lose to OU in Dallas but beat them in the Big12 Championship game.

    Beat them twice please.

But given the choice, I'd take the latter for sure.

I have anxiety about winning this week but seeing them lift the Big 12 title again (a la: 2006, 2008, 2015).

Looks like FOX has their own "pregame" in Dallas starting at 9am. Have ESPN and FOX both been in the same location before? If Texas wins, Gameday can either be there or it's FCS week IMO.

I don't see any way College Gameday will be there now.  The FOX location will be exactly where Gameday usually sets up when there : "The studio location, on Lone Star Boulevard between the Texas Hall of State and the Esplanade, also features special fan giveaways and activities, courtesy of FOX Sports and its partners, prior to the game on Saturday."

Not to mention the fact that this thread has likely jinxed us in Manhattan (not that we need to be jinxed to lose there).

This week, gaming sites got the chance to experience a few hours of hands-on gameplay time with Red Dead Redemption 2, and here's what they had to say:

"The subtle ways in which the developers at Rockstar Studios make this Wild West world feel truly alive combine to produce a game with a potentially unprecedented scope and verisimilitude. In other words, Rockstar looks to be raising the bar yet again for the genre it essentially invented a decade and a half ago with Grand Theft Auto 3." - Polygon

“As Arthur leaps aboard the train hurtling below, one of the initial sensations I get is one of sheer weight. The worn leather of Arthur’s jacket slams into cover as Cornwall’s men take potshots at our outlaws, giving you more of a connection to the game’s world than we are used to... Red Dead’s increased physicality is a deliberate choice to connect controller and character... (in) strong keeping with its goal to keep you grounded in Red Dead Redemption 2’s extraordinary world” - The Telegraph

“The massive overhaul of the NPCs and the player’s interactions with them is one of the most striking elements of Red Dead Redemption II, which represents not only a seismic improvement on the original Western game but a leap ahead of Rockstar’s most recent project, Grand Theft Auto V... it’s clear this is something very special. Rockstar has created not so much an open-world game as an open-life one, where you live as your character. The gap between game and gamer has never felt so thin… these were about the most alluring two hours spent in a game I can imagine, and I’m already thirsty for many more.” - The Independent

"The rolling scenery we saw during this journey was impressive--snowy mountains gradually transitioned into a more temperate environment, with the snow noticeably thinning out and greenery starting to peek through as we descended in altitude. Spending time watching the horses, too, was impressive. Their manes flapped in the wind, their hoofs left imprints in the snow and dirt, and their animations looked natural as they turned and transitioned between speeds gallops." - Gamespot

"Red Dead 2, at its most open, functions as a Wild West wish fulfillment service. The quiet bandit thrill of pulling a bandana over your face as you watch potential robbery victims from a hillside. The Eastwood kick of knocking three lawmen off their horses before they have time to pull a single trigger, then spinning your gun back into its holster with a flourish. Even a simple tipped hat and a remark on what a beautiful day it is as you pass a resting rancher in the heat of the noon sun." - IGN

"What I could see sold me on the idea that Red Dead Redemption 2 aims to be as detailed and involved a video game western as we’ve ever seen. I’m equally sold that the changes Rockstar has made to their formula appear to be for the better. There is potential for them to have created their most interesting and interactive gaming landscape, one that gives much more life to the interactions between the character we play and the many others we meet, to make events unfold more naturally and for everything to feel more organic." - Kotaku

"Rockstar is pushing forward the boundaries of what video games can be when it comes to immersive gameplay and complex storytelling in open worlds... I was amazed to see the footprints in the mud and the ambient life all around me, like the deer running in the trees and the hawks in the sky. It’s no joke. The world is as deep and expansive as Rockstar says it is... After just 45 minutes of what could be a very long game, I’m quite convinced that this is going to be one of the best games of the year."" - GamesBeat

"And of course there's still so much more to see - hunting, fishing, how the relationships with your campmates evolve, crafting and buying saddles, cleaning weapons and adding gun parts. Most important of all will be the real consequences of making Arthur an honorable white hat or a total scumbag... even after this brief glimpse, I'm ready to kiss goodbye to the end of 2018, and probably the rest of my life too." - GamesRadar

“This could be the new benchmark not only in the sandbox genre, but videogames in general.” – Hobby Consolas (Spain)

“A game we thought was not possible on these consoles. A technical and visual portrait: a point of reference. And not just because of its horsepower, but because the exquisite artistic direction and how precise everything is, the sick level of detail, that just a few games have tried to reach through the years.” – Vandal (Spain)

“Red Dead Redemption 2 is the world’s most anticipated game. And armed with that alone, other than knowledge of the first game and of this developer -- What. Did. You. Expect? Because if it was greatness; if it was excellence -- perfection... you’ve short-changed your expectations.” - Ausgamers (Australia)

“Rockstar Games is going to once again shake up the world of video games.” – Jeuxactu (France)

“A masterpiece that only Rockstar can make” – Gameswelt (Germany)

“A game with enormous ambitions and the right stuff to become a milestone, not only for this genre but for videogaming overall. In a single world: gigantic!” - Everyeye.it (Italy)

“The magnitude of the game world is literally astounding” – Multiplayer.it (Italy)
