  1. It wasn’t all of a sudden. It’s been building for decades. No idea on the cause. Affluence maybe? 50 years ago people rarely ate out. Now even the poorest among us eat out routinely. I suspect people also snack more. And drink a lot more calorie rich drinks.
  2. There used to be almost no fats. And certainly not the gargantuans you see these days. Something has changed. And it certainly isn’t food deserts. Healthy food isn’t less accessible than it was 50 years ago. And we have access to more nutrition information. People are making poor choices. They eat and drink too much and move too little.
  3. Altuve gets another 20 WAR and he’s in no doubter territory.
