With the reports of kiffin going to bayon Rouge I imagine this recruitment is still wide open.
The timing of the commitment is odd if that is the case. The job was open. He knew that and everyone knew Kiffin was the top target. He could have just waited a couple of days if Kiffin moved the needle for him.

The third loss counts way more.
That's on us.
That's exactly why you don't schedule Ohio State anymore. Why risk the 3rd loss when you can guarantee a win instead? The committee doesn't punish teams for scheduling games against Our Lady of the Lake Girl's Academy so why play OSU? We'll just see them in the playoffs instead. We shouldn't put up road blocks for ourselves. The committee lied. We know that now. So schedule by their actions instead of their words.

He's got a good frame but he's got heavy feet. He looks a little better in his early senior film, but it just looks like an odd fit for the offense Sark likes to run. I think he likely kicks inside. Those don't look like tackle feet to me.

Cummings is a good looking athlete but he's too tall to be a LB who plays in space. He's going to be an edge. He might be redundant in the class, but it is an end of the class take and he's not chasing any of our higher rated players off. We'll see. Nice developmental prospect.

I like his film. He's a legit 2nd RB take.

That's the captain of the all name team.

I like Jilek. He's physical as hell. I also like Josiah Vilmael. I think he shows well on film. Nice looking athlete. I'm not in love with the Scherer offer. He has a solid frame but he doesn't move well. We've seen how big a liability that can be in Sark's scheme. He looks like someone who should be a signing day flip if we miss on everyone else we want.

You guys need to chill. I don't believe his listed 40 time, but the dude can run and is physical as hell. It's a great end of the class take. Maybe he can be what Shannon never developed into. Dude's out there pancaking people and destroying the DL's edge contain.

Apparently they had to inform him he was being fired for cause within 7 days of termination. They didn't so now they are trying to reset the firing date by saying he hasn't actually been terminated yet. Kelly's lawyers want to keep the original firing date, hence the lawsuit.

We need to have funds allocated to stealing OL from whoever the fuck we want.

I'm still holding out hope for Tubberville. Ed O would be just as hilarious though.

Having all those TE's on the field brings a lot of defenders into the box. That makes it really easy for the defense to hide, disguise their blitzers and coverages. They don't have to show anything. It also makes it easier to confuse an already struggling OL to have all those potential assignments in the box. Everything about having multiple TE's on the field is stupid. Sark needs to recognize he doesn't have the personnel to run the offense he wants this season.

The early season criticism of Niblett was legitimate. He cost us a lot of yards early in the year. He needed to field the fucking ball. When he started to do that, things started to happen. Hey, the kid saved the season the last 3 games. Much respect. That doesn't change the fact that he was ass early.

The best coach just got locked in at Indiana. The second best is off the hot seat at Alabama.
I’d argue for PK and get the best OC you can, but that may not work.
The buyout at Indiana isn't prohibitive. He can be had.

I like Will Stein's offense. I'd at least like to interview him and see if he's HC material. There are actually some interesting names if the job opens up. I'm assuming Lanning is unattainable unless he just covets the UT job.Nobody Sabans age is taking over what will be a 2-3 year rebuild at minimum, probably closer to 5-6. Get that shit out of your mind.
He can compete the following year. The roster talent is good outside of OL. He just needs one portal cycle and a lot of money.
