  1. Got anything to add other than your faux aggressive, message board-tough tone? But yeah, you're right. OU scored with 15 seconds left. The record has been corrected to be technically accurate. All good now?
  2. A lot of people seem to think if Alabama beats UGA in the SECCG, then UGA will still be in the CFP as a 1-loss non-conference champ, blocking out Texas (assuming we win out). - Big 10 champ (Michigan or Ohio State) - Pac-12 champ (Washington or Oregon) - SEC champ (Alabama) + UGA It would be bullshit, but I could see it happening. Of course, once again, don't lose to OU on the last play of the game and it's a non-issue.
  3. ESPN has updated the conference championship games' participants since last night and the Big 12 game is still TBD vs. TBD. There must be some scenario where we lose to TTU and don't get in.
  4. Now we have to avoid the "we're already in the Big 12 CG" letdown game vs. Tech.
  5. Fake kneel, pop pass. TD.
  6. I want a TD. Because fuck ISU.
  7. Baxter has been getting a lot of criticism the last few games, but he's mainly been running the ball late in the game when everyone knows we're running. He's over 100 tonight on 15 carries because he's gotten the ball in a mix of situations.
  8. Y'all didn't think 23-9 in the 4th QTR was comfortable, did you?
  9. 4th QTR and Iowa State has ZERO penalty yards. ZERO.
  10. We have a WR named Whittington? Who knew?
  11. Baxter. CAR YDS AVG TD LONG 8 69 8.6 0 21 Sark about to throw 15 passes in a row.
  12. Baxter has 7.2 YPC in the first half. Just an FYI.
  13. Whitt never came down in bounds. Bullshit call and forced us to burn a TO.
  14. "Quinn is holding the ball too long" No shit. They're dropping 8 into coverage and he can't read a defense to save his life. If his pre-snap target isn't wide fucking open, he has no clue who IS going to be open. The key to beating us is to play 3 high safeties and only rush 3, forcing Quinn Ewers use his brain.
  15. Safeties gonna cheat up on that slant and get burned deep. Watch.
  16. Yup. ISU has a history of knocking off top 10 teams. Getting jobbed and losing to them at home wouldn't draw much scrutiny.
  17. Been saying all season that Quinn Ewers cannot process information quickly enough. He has almost no pre-snap read and when he does, it has nothing to do with the actual defense. He just compares the defensive alignment with the WR Sark schemed the play for and little else. He can't see how the defense rolls or sits when the ball is snapped, only how they were aligned. Hate to say it, but he doesn't have enough mental horsepower to get it done. If Sark schemes the perfect play, he'll get it there. Anything else is a crapshoot.
  18. A slant? No way.
  19. 1st half defense isn't our problem.
  20. Iowa State came to play
  21. LFG! TEXAS!

    9-1

Yep. And it's nobody's fault but our own. Don't lose to Oklahoma on the last play of the game and it's a non-issue.
  23. You had my curiosity. Now you have my attention.
  24. That's Sark's problem. He's a brilliant schemer, but because of that, he looks for too many wrinkles. Everything is cute. We have talent for days. We just need to run regular plays - run right, run left (well, maybe not left ), crossing routes, slants, delays, wheel routes, and take some shots deep when the matchups are there. Utilize Whittington, Sanders, and Cook more. Tie up the LBs and Safeties with those dudes, and force the corners to handle Worthy and Mitchell without help. Lose all the bubble screens, throwbacks, and insane route trees that the WRs and Ewers can only execute to about 65% effectiveness anyway. Ewers has arm talent for days, but can't process quickly enough for that shit. Make it easier for him to sling it with that golden arm of his. Do that and we win out, with or without Brooks. We have an embarrassment of riches at RB. Brooks is all-world, but losing him shouldn't kill us.
  25. Pics, MFer. This isn't 'Nam. There are rules.
