Abreu being sent to Palm Beach is a win-win. We'll put a better 1B on the field and there's the small chance Abreu figures something out an gets his shit together. If not then bye Felicia.
If Dusty was still here, his ass would be starting at 1B until infinity.

Playing Dubon there as much as possible is a better option than letting Abreu desperately try to catch up to 90 mph fastballs.
Dubon, Caratini, and Diaz. and Loperfido has 36 innings at 1B in AAA.

Seriously how much longer does Abreu get? He's batting in double digits. Its not like we dont have options at 1B.

I think it depends on the player. If you're a guy like Singleton, Meyers, Dubon, Abreu, etc, don't swing. If you're a badass hitter in top 4 of the lineup, swing away.
Agreed. Also if your on a heater and seeing beachballs up there, like Altuve, absolutly sit on that FB down the middle.

Still working for me
Maybe because I'm in Florida and there's some blackout BS.

Did Fubo just drop Space City Network? I was watching the game and it just disappeared, now gone completely. WTF

I too am frugal so during our fall 6U season, I went to Home Depot and bought some rope, pvc pipe, pipe insulation foam, and black duck tape. I made a poor man’s version for every boy on the team. They were as sturdy as the real ones, but worked fine when the kids were hitting squish balls or tennis balls to work on their swing. Inevitably most of the boys started hitting baseballs with them and they exploded.
What exploded? your offensive production or the device you made?

They support Volleyball and some basketball games
I've always thought support would be much better if the field was on the main campus, not across I-35

Man these prices are getting out of hand. Saturday game get in the door ticket (nosebleed in 405) is $49 after fees.
Monday get in the door ticket is $40 after fees.
My days of going to 20+ games a year are over
Yep. 1-2 games per season for me.. After I take the kid its a $300-$400 day.

I think we need the Ace SP at the trade deadline... and I think we'll have the pieces on the roster do make the trade

Nah. Streaming is a losing proposition. We did a podcast on why that is, but it’s worse than what he had.
Wasn't the math something like $600 for a season per household? Are you saying its actually higher? I enjoyed that podcast, btw..

I liked them until I looked closer and realized there were two shades of orange. That's dumb.
2 shades of orange? Must have been designed by the UT athletic department

I think I like it…
could backfire if guys like Framber and Javier don’t revert to 2022 form.
“That starting rotation is relentless at giving up 6+ in 3 innings”
I saw a video of Javier jumping over hurdles on a beach so we should expect him to be close to elite this season

Good thing Dusty wasnt involved in the wedding planning, notably choosing the Best Man.

Not as bad as what immediately followed IMO.

I feel good about Lance's ability to travel to Florida too.
Umm.. Are we sure he can lift his carry on bag into the overhead compartment without going on a 9 month DL stint?

The Angels announced that they have traded infielder/outfielder Trey Cabbage, who was recently designated for assignment, to the Astros. In exchange, the Angels will receive minor league right-hander Carlos Espinosa. The Astros designated right-hander Declan Cronin for assignment to open a roster spot for Cabbage.
Lettuce hope this guy can contribute this season

Dubon needs to be playing every day either at OF, 1B, or 3rd. Yes. 3rd.
