I just want to see him get some play.  He can't fucking do worse than what Julks has done at DH.

Hell he may be a disaster and suck ass

Julks had a really tough game a week or so ago.. He was in a small slump already, and hit like 4 balls on the screws that were caught by the OF.. I'm sure that's contributing to the mental aspect of his slump..

That being said, he can work out of it in AAA by playing EVERYDAY.. Singleton deserves a shot..

Great dude though.  I'm glad he got a ring with us.

I took the boy to Chicago to see Wrigley and he was the most excited about Mancini (because Astros) .. We watched the replay of the catch he made off the Schwarber.... We talked about what a great guy he was an all that.. Crazy to think we may have been in person for his last MLB game..

They have a new coach who moved up from Houston and has won multiple State titles

I knew exactly who this was without having to look it up.. LOL

  4. I started 2 Water Polo programs back in the day.. Boys and girls team at Cy Ridge and then in Dallas at Lake Highlands.. it was extremelly difficult being a rookie program and playing the OGs.. we took our licks for sure.. but man was it great for the kids and even better for my swim program.. glad its taking hold in Texas..

That’s my point; Houston has not made very many trades like this.  In fact I can’t think of a time they traded away one of their 5-10 best prospects for a replacement level player on a free agent level salary.

If this is the only move they make like this it’s probably no big deal.  I just don’t want to see 2-3 more moves where they give up significant prospect capital for players with almost no actual surplus value because the shit adds up.

The Astros have a different plan at catcher revolving around Diaz, and JR Towles was not in those plans. My bad, Korey Lee, not Towles. I get them confused.

I said it was a good get earlier but that was before I heard Lee. I’m not sure we got enough value. I was thinking a package with Lee would get us a top starter or bat.

We need to trade Meyers for a reliever. Or pain relief Tylenol. He gives me a headache.

I don't think anyone wants Jake Meyers.. I would love to trade him for Shohei, so does my 9 year old who did it on the Playstation yesterday. But he's going to be a throw in at best.

Verlander talk heating up now that Mets traded Robertson

He is going somewhere, but has a no trade clause so pretty much gets to decide on the spot

Is there any way we could have Verlander for the remainder of the season then give him to the Rangers for the playoffs?
