Luka's hurting pretty fucking bad. He's powering through it. Sure a lot of the trips and getting stepped on was shenanigans . But it's pretty obvious with the effort it takes him to get up sometimes or resting on his knees a little too long. Then add on top of that a bloodied good knee and a loose tooth.

I admit, I barely casually watch the regular season, but he's a very tough whiner.

He’s playing possum pal. Trust me.

So apparently that dude was Rex. Good to know.

Yeah because a) I would ever waste time engaging these dickless nerds and b) have a Brooklyn accent.

Well, DrRexBeeperPorterKramerHouse has been raging like a roided-out asshole the past few days, so that checks out.

Raging?  I’ve not once even shown any emotion. You just aren’t accustomed to your narrative being challenged and your feathers are ruffled.

Bullshit, the guy with the brass knucks was the biggest pussy of the bunch.

He's clearly a graduate of the Kyle Rittenhouse school of tough guys...needs illegal weapons to feel like a real man...

Not one of the protestors budged an inch and he scurried off like the pussy he is.

They were very clearly scared of the guy. They only appeared as defiant as you thought they were because there were cops in the background.

I absolutely hate pussy ass mother fuckers like this asshole.  Calls other people pussies while wearing brass knucks...take those off and see what happens bitch.

That band of gypsies wasn’t going to do anything. You think the knuckles hadn’t any impact?  lol. Those idiots were scared shitless.

Ah, so you're not interested in an honest conversation. I took the time to answer your question with a thorough response. You just delete all that shit and then throw out more accusatorial queries. Finished engaging with you.

You have zero interest in an honest conversation. You’re interested in employing your CR tactics here, and they won’t work.

Should I, therefore, expect to be labeled anti-Israel

Yes. Your very essence demands it.

If you're talking about people who are opposed to the conduct of the war or are demanding a ceasefire, then that's a bullshit smear.

When combined with your posting on the matter it is most certainly not a bullshit smear.

oh right. i see that important distinction is indeed made in the text.

    carry on no big deal.

nevertheless, it's my opinion that the statement was unnecessary and I'm not particularly happy about it. in fact, a statement like this, the votes of confidence from old guard types, rarely ends well for the person in question.

hartzell needs to go. throw eltife out with him. the call is coming from inside the house

It’s a very important distinction. Get on the Board or effect change on the Board. Hartzell isn’t going anywhere. He was a strong head who’s been strengthened by his actions of the past several weeks.  Your opinion is in the small minority.

Ahh yes, you're constant war to expose all the BS fox puts out on a daily basis has been admirable

Look I’m over my defense of the indefensible but if I’d noticed a similar Fox tweet I’d definitely comment on it.

It's sad that in your desperate attempts to get fucked in the ass, you keep showing yours.

Oh, I’m not showing my ass at all except for an embarrassing yet common grammatical error. You SO want this to be counter protestors that I can smell your patchouli through my iPhone

“Man has assaulted students!”  Lulz. Revenge of the Nerds man. No wonder why YOU are so strongly siding with them.

i just got a mail from the exes declaring support for hartzell in my name.

I'm fairly unhappy about it but I'm just a nobody so whatever

If you’re not on the Board, nothing was declared in your name.

It would have been a costly loss, with the same results on the players. What do you suggest we do? Sit our players until they are healthy? That's why everyone hates Leonard.

I was just making an observation. It's especially frustrating since the refs are clearly using different standards from one player to the next and two of our hurt players can't get fouls called for them. It's remarkable how injury free OKC has been this season.

Luka ain’t hurt. It’s all gamemanship with him. DJJ is fine. Gafford is so dominant yet can’t make shots this series. I’m not worried about his hand.

The Mormons don’t believe in the pre-Trib rapture anyway. But they do believe in the Second Coming and that we are in the end times. The devil is in the details on what the term means. Same problem when you ask Muslims about the Sharia.

You implied, I think, that Mormons are some small, fringey cult like you seem to maintain that the fundagelicals are some small, fringey cult with their "Jesus ain't comin without Israel" schtick.

They may be fringey, they may be a cult, but they ain't small, either LDS or fundagelicals that support Israel because it's a prerequisite to the second coming, whether they are explicitly aware of that belief or just told they should by their pastors.

The rapture is an 1800s doctrine dreamed up by American fundamentalists. In my mind it’s not quite as fantastical as Joe Smith’s fantasies, but it’s close. That’s what I meant.

You know there are a lot of Mormons, right?  There are actually more Mormons than United Methodists.

I’m not sure you understood, at all, what I said.

Look at the percentages of Americans who believe in the Rapture, the cornerstone fundagelical eschatological belief. It’s around 40%. It’s nuts.

I don’t believe it’s that high a percentage. I could be wrong that sounds way high. The whole idea is a tad too close to Mormonism to me.

The United Methodist Church, although emphasizing evangelism through mission work is not what is considered an "evangelical" denomination.

Evangelicals are generally congregational (have no real church hierarchy and choose their own clergy without regard for qualification or education) and, as a result, have screwy theology, like this eschatology thing.  The actual word is "fundamentalist," but that has a negative connotation these days thanks to fundamentalist Islam.  The parallels are striking, though.

Fundamentalists aren’t the same as evangelicals though they’re similar. Regardless, they comprise only 14% of Americans. Mainline Protestants comprise 31% and Catholics are 22%. I just don’t see the impact, near the impact, y’all think they have with respect to leading American Christianity’s view of Israel.

It's more that the supermajority of links being bandied about this thread are from accounts that were CERTAIN the 2020 election was STOLLEN and that COVID was fake. Idk about y'all, but I think it's important to know what sort of past reporting and inaccuracies a """citizen journalist"""" has in the same way I think it's important for credentialed journalists to stay accountable to their past reporting.

It's a big part of why I try to link to journalistic sources and real reporting when available. Does in-the-moment Twitter reporting fill some of that breaking news gap for emergent events? Absolutely. But the folks being linked here aren't at any of the events they're """reporting""" on - they're just stoking the outrage fires to superlative effect. Especially when there's not much new being posted and it's more "RECENTLY UNCOVERED SHOCKING FOOTAGE FROM A WEEK AGO!!!" that frequently misrepresents or overstates what actually happened in the video

They posted video. The video speaks for itself. It cannot be discredited. Type more words.

Strictly speaking, as a member of UIL, Anderson HS is """UT affiliated"""

That said, Hartzell and the Johnny Sacks of the world are using rhetoric that would lead one to believe that some flown in protesters are getting arrested at UT. Austin residents going to a protest in a State-designated free speech area in Austin seems like a normal thing to me.

Flown in?  I haven’t seen anyone say this. There were outside agitators, and as a result you’re making up stuff / moving the goalposts.
