  1. Sciatic nerve pain is no joke. Neurosurgeon wants to perform a discectomy, but I'm really hesitant. I started doing home PT and that seems to help a bit. Last night was the first night of what you would call sleep in a long time.

Mri and x rays show numerous bulging discs. What's your go-to cures/stretches.

    High

Live resin is lovely. Will be partaking again. I need a trip to a legal state to restock.

These have cropped up around here. Might give one a shot this weekend.

  2. If deBoer can put together a similar season to last year's Saban Farewell Tour, the non-monetary part of that advantage will not suffer.
Remains to be seen, but the man has a pretty nice resume.
Let's see in a few years with his own players. I think he will be successful but folks need to lower expectations.

SUNDAY EVENING MAY 12TH OTF STREAM
        - Texas staff hitting Houston
        - Gideon/Joseph - Caleb Chester, Kade Phillips; Chris Jackson - Kelshaun Johnson, Andrew Marsh
        - Gideon - Jonah Williams (although likely OU/Aggie battle)
        - QBs - Milwee in Saraland;
        - Texas had three coaches at Duncanville, watching Keelon Russell (Jackson, Banks, Milwee)
        - Milwee - Dia Bell May 20th, then Troy Huhn May 22nd
        - Bell and Huhn Texas Elite camp June 1st;  that may be when the Texas '26 QB is decided
        - (Btw, Gerry has repeated this several times, including how Lacey committed at this camp last year.)
        - As of Thursday, this was the only visit these two QBs had set up, so could be waiting on Texas
        - Bell - also likes Penn State and LSU, and perhaps Alabama
        - Huhn - picked up offers from Clemson, Arky, FSU perhaps
        - Texas really wants Kaden Finley (Jermichael Finley's son)
        - Texas legit shot with Myron Charles ('25 DT out of Florida)
        - Texas would take Kevin and Jordan Coleman right now, and Texas leads for them
        - Kevin Wynn visiting June 14-16th;  Texas has a legit shot.  FSU/SC 1/2, Texas/GA 3A/3B (but never visited Texas);  Kirby doesn't want Texas to get traction in GA, especially OL/DL;  tougher with Kirby than with Mark Richt
        - Best 4 D-tackles (viewer question) - Gerry:  Texas is absolutely on the right guys.  Will have to hit on 50% of the guys they're bringing in for visits.  Says ordering them is tough, but 6 are in a different category - Brandon Brown, Derry Norris, Myron Charles, Kevin Wynn (calls him Kevin Greene … prophetic?), Zion Williams, Josiah Sharma.  Says if we get three, then will #4 be a "developmental" guy like DJ Sanders …  or Chace Sims, or someone else.

That's that Columbian uncut shit right there. My body is ready.
  4. HA, if he was there for one of the Air Force Tech Schools, say around 18-19 years old. It was closed in 1993, so he could still be as young as 48-49.
I heard those Chanute stories when I came in the late 90s. People said it was pussy and beer nonstop. Then the AF said, "Here's Sheppard," lol.

    Spoiler

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage four-star quarterback Dia Bell has already established himself as one of the top rising juniors in the country. Bell, who visited around 10 schools this spring, may be coming off the board sooner than later.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound signal-caller is considering a commitment this summer, including at the end of June or the beginning of July. His finalists are already beginning to take shape.
“I feel like there are a couple schools that are already pretty strong,” Bell told On3. “I feel like there are a couple of schools that have solidified themselves pretty well. Then, there are some schools that I have to keep building the relationship with and see where that takes me with them.”
Ahead of revealing his college destination, Bell believes that he will release a list of his top schools. The No. 1 player in Florida is excited to continue connecting with multiple programs, and already knows what matters to him in a school.
“The history and putting guys into the league in the past gives a school a head start on a lot of the programs that haven’t sent guys to the NFL,” said Bell, the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. “The culture around the program, the offense and the fit for me matter too. Those are probably the three big things.”
One of the schools to host Bell this spring was Texas. The No. 2 quarterback in the 2026 On300 left Austin on April 19 with an offer from the Longhorns.
Bell is returning to Texas on June 1 for another unofficial visit. He is looking forward to being back on The Forty Acres.
“I had never been to one of their practices, so it was good to learn how coach A.J. Milwee and coach Steve Sarkisian like to coach their quarterbacks,” Bell said. “… I feel like that camp is going to help because I’m going to be able to see firsthand how coach Milwee likes to coach because he’ll be coaching me during it. I feel like that will be a good thing for me.”
Texas is not the only top program that is working hard to land Bell. Some of the other schools heavily pursuing the four-star include LSU, Miami, Ohio State and Penn State.
There is still a long time remaining in Bell’s recruitment. Yet he is looking forward to finding his college football home in the coming weeks.
“I feel like there’s a group of schools that I have better relationships with because I’ve known them for much longer periods of time,” Bell said. “I make sure to stay in contact with those schools. The longer I’ve known them, probably the better my relationship with them has been. That has helped shape what my decision is going to look like.”

He was recently on OTF and had glowing remarks about Sark. Said they met when he was in the 8th grade prior to getting recruited at another camp.

  6. How has this not been posted yet?  Y'all get all cloaky and can't focus for shit.  As always, the comments are where da gold at.

    First comment is pure gold.

Listen @ShedeurSanders, I just wanna thank you. I have been in a wheelchair for 5 years. Haven’t taken a step. Somebody across the room played your rap, and I finally got the strength to get up and go turn that shit off. Thank you so much for changing my life. I am forever in your debt

  7. Just got fired twice in the last 2 business days.
one a guy I’d worked with on a new build (so I was expecting fuckery) for about 9 months- got the credit up- for him qualified when they couldn’t blah blah blah, and he left over $10 a month.
the other guy that just fired me was turned down a couple different places until I got him approved (had a lender make 2 exceptions about some difficult stuff while we were shopping and that got his debt ratio down to 49.8) because he got offered 1/4 of a point better. Now- his wife was on the job self employed 18 months and they are a super slam dunk easy loan once they file taxes in 25 and I told him I’d pay all his fees and refinance him for free at my cheapest lender at that time.
$924.00 on his timeline is what it will cost him.
I never get fired. I was on my way to the biggest month I’d had since early 2022 so it’s not that big a deal (the other 10 people I’ve got locked for May haven’t fired me yet!) I’m sitting here with a bemused smile on my face.
Question for the board (if this guy who’s been turned down multiple times comes back should I close him?
Some people will trip over a dime to pick up a penny.
