I walked up on this as the good samaritan was being loaded into the ambulance. He was all fucked up and looked terrified. We need to stop emboldening these people.

The Chiefs game was the one that broke my heart. We had a group of hard pipe hitters on defense. And that team had a shot at beating the Cowboys, who struggled with run and shoot offenses. Buddy Ryan’s defense was special that year.
The 92 team that choked against a buffalo would have been blasted by the Cowboys anyway. Had they even made past the AFC title game. No way they beat Dallas.
Those chokers weren’t going to touch the Cowboys.

The cops and some city workers are disabling the Adlerville under Ben White at Lamar. Anyone know why?

All you did was throw out whatever half-witted insults you could think of without offering up any actual analysis on either team or the game. I applaud for attempting a troll job, but at the end of the day it was just that - an attempt.
Who are you talking to fucko?

Now we are getting somewhere. I could be all wet here, because I'm relying on direct observation and what I'm told by people and organizations who work with that population, the police who patrol the area, and people who work specifically at the locations most impacted as outlined above, a group that includes my church and own child. My perspective on impact is formed by observation but I'm convinceable.
What data do you have that correlates a statistically significant increase in population or change in behavior by the permanent homeless population since the camping ban was rescinded? Because what I've heard and seen indicates that other than sleeping in places where mere hanging out was happening before it's the same people in pretty much the same locations. As far as I can tell, some of them just put their shit where you can't ignore it now.Patently absurd to give anecdotal evidence and then ask for data. I hope you didn’t graduate from Texas.

It would hurt my feelings and make me feel sad inside to know that my lack of hysteria has cost me the joy of your repartee.
But to your point- there’s certainly been an immediate change in sleeping behavior/accommodations because people with PTSD aren’t being forced to sleep in the woods anymore, but other wise it’s the same people in the same locations.“Sleeping behavior”. Fuck that is rich. For someone who fashions himself a political wonk, you either have no understanding of how public policy incentivizes behavior or you are being intentionally obtuse.

And under 35, and along Waller creek between 4th and 7th, just as they were before the camping ban was lifted.
God you are so disingenuous. If you can’t admit an immediate change in behavior there is no fucking point debating this with you. You are completely full of shit and incredibly stupid.

Went downtown Wednesday night for the Black Pumas ACL taping. Parked @ City Hall, had dinner @ Lambert's, walked to and from the venue, not a homeless in sight. I was led to believe the Reavers were going to get me the minute I stepped out of my car.
They are banned from camping at City hall and don’t hang around 2nd street. They are on Congress, sixth, Brazos and the various shelters just north of 6th.

And that’s the camping ordinance? Interesting. You don’t causality too good.I can’t get over what a completely imbecilic and foolish response this is. I have met you randomly IRL years ago, and you come across in person like the arrogant idiotic douche you do on the internet. Don’t challenge me with logic 101 type of comments that further reveal your idiocy. In short, fuck you with a needle used by your beloved homeless in your own dick.

And that’s the camping ordinance? Interesting. You don’t causality too good.1) I thought this thread has morphed into a general bitch about the homeless thread
2). One of the few things the city did that actually helped was put a toilet trailer at 6th and Brazos, but they removed it (so bitching about City homeless policies when the homeless are defecating and urinating on public sidewalks is certainly related)
3) One of the persistent criticisms of this policy is that it has emboldened the homeless to do things in public without fear of retribution (like pissing on Congress). Try and keep up. Thanks.

She is the filthiest one downtown and has the deformed legs. A very sad case for sure, but I don’t need to wade through her piss when picking up lunch.
-
I was just grabbing lunch at Royal Blue on Congress. Susan Reddick (she is in the mugshot hall of fame, but I can’t access the 2019 thread) walked across the sidewalk, pulled her pants completely down and openly pissed on the sidewalk. Jesus fucking Christ fuck you Adler and Casar.
-
On a positive note, Mr. Austin from the app booking thread (the guy who walks up and down 6th Street with a sign that says “need $ for weed”) has a job as a cashier at a convenient store downtown. It is nice to see someone take a positive step.
-
I wonder if Austin used to bus the homeless. Does anyone remember James Ayala from the shaggy mugshot thread? He disappeared one day and then started showing up in Phoenix booking photos.

I advocate killing every one of these mother fuckers. They are subhuman filth. The assholes at 6th and Brazos have 3 lawn chairs out. They are cat calling women office workers walking by. I think 2 of them were having sex earlier today. The only logical response is to take a flamethrower to the lot of them. They don’t want to reform, are a scourge on society and should be exterminated. Fuck them

I swear this shit is out of control and these stinky pieces of shit changed their behavior for the worse when our fuckhead city council passed this asinine ordinance. I have also heard police downtown saying they don’t know what to do with the new laws or lack thereof. Fuck you Casar you fucking asshole. This is one situation where people actually paid attention to what the idiot city council was doing, came out to speak against it and they crammed this shit down our throats. Fuck all of you and fuck these asshole fucking bums and anyone that supports this bull shit.

It's important to remember that Ketchum is a fraudulent cocksucker who has created false stories for hits to the detriment of both the University of Texas and its recruiting efforts.
Like anyone on Herman's staff is going to talk to that worm after the Orlando story and give them their WR rankings in the state.
Can you elaborate on the Orlando story for the uninformed?

The most telling and alarming quotes come from the women who were attacked. They are tourists and will not return. I also read that the Texas Women’s Conference being held at the Convention Center is urging attendees not to walk anywhere downtown and to take Uber instead. The City Council and fuck face Adler might actually do it; they might kill the Austin golden goose of tourism.
