  1. Texas is going to be good and most likely national championship good for the foreseeable future on the womens side. 1 all-worldly sprinter gives you a chance and they now have that with Cooper.
  2. The big issue with Flo is hes as invested in training pro athletes in Austin for the Olympics as he is Texas. But thats also attracting some big time recruits to come here on the womens side. Elise Cooper is coming here to train with Alfred and Flo for the Olympics. Same with a couple others in this recruiting class. I do wonder if Texas needs 2 separate track coaches for both the women and men. Flos focus is on the womens side and training all these pro womens athletes for the Olympics.
  3. For those that dont know shes coming to Texas. This would have placed her 4th in the 200m at the college outdoor championships as a high school senior.
  4. Elise Cooper ran a 22.44 200m at nationals this weekend which would have finished 4th at the college outdoor championships. She could win the 200m and 400m in year 1 at Texas. Shes the next Alfred.
  5. Please show me the #3 pitcher they spent money on.
  6. It’s a waste of resources to pay a substantial amount of money for a #3 that might only pitch a couple innings in the postseason. If youre going to spend money do it on someone that helps you win. Nobody is breaking the bank for a #3 pitcher.
  7. exactly, you arent going to convince any good pitcher to come here to be #3. All-Big 12 first teamer from 2 years ago as your #3 is a luxury.
  8. Yes. Who are you going to convince to be the 3rd option with her talent?
  9. Adding a portal pitcher potentially scares off Cambria. Her upside is really high. Ive never understood the thought process of adding a portal pitcher unless Citaly transfers. You have a clear ace in TK and then 3 talented pitchers behind her.
  10. Been amazed at some of his posts but never followed him before. Does he not know the top 2 sprinters in this years recruiting class are coming to Texas? If Elise Cooper makes it to campus Texas will be competing for a championship. I believe shes already run the 2nd fastest 200 and 3rd fastest 300 in US high school history. Puma has already signed her out of HS.
  11. They returning 16 points scored by underclassmen this year who will all likely improve. Then a couple more underclassmen that made the NCAA championships in sprints that didn't score. Then Bayleigh Minor is coming who is the top recruit. They are not going to be average. Top 3 team with national championship upside.
  12. The women are not going to be average next year. Theyre going to be in contention for a national title.
  13. Its not going to be a down cycle long for the womens side. 16 points were scored this year by underclassmen and then a couple more underclassmen sprinters who made the NCAA championships.
  14. The women are going to be in contention for a championship next year with Ndubuisi and Garrett returning. 1 more good sprinter that can score points in a couple of events from the transfer portal or recruiting class likely puts them right in contention.
