Jesus, why does UGA not own east Tenn, central Fla, Atlanta, NW Miss, central SC, etc?

Because the teams Georgia beat didn’t own that land when Georgia beat them.

Season starts with all teams owning their own land (counties around your school, half way to the next school). Teams then capture the land owned by the teams they beat. When you lose; you lose all your land to the team that beat you.

Texas owned all of our opponents land until we lost to ou. OU took all our land when they beat us.  OU then lost the land to oSu, oSu lost it to UCF, UCF lost it to Tech, we gained it from Tech.

If you play a team with no land, you gain nothing. If oSu beats Texas (they won’t), all the Longhorn land becomes Cowboy land and we have nothing.

I am not saying that Oregon CURRENTLY should be ranked higher than Texas, they probably shouldn't. I AM saying Oregon beating Washington this weekend is not going to make them drop behind Texas. Beating a top 20 team isn't going to jump a team over another team that would be beating a top 3 team.

Washington being number 3 right now is more impressive than a team being number 3 in week 2 of the season.

You just said you can’t consider rankings at the time you play the game.

Assuming Bama beats Georgia, and Oregon beats Washington, who will be ranked higher after both games, Washington or Bama?

If we’re too scared of a rematch with OU, then we don’t deserve to talk about the playoffs. Our players should be much more motivated for a rematch with OU, especially after how they conducted themselves after the RRS win. Bring it on.

    Who is we? The fans?

I want to be in the playoff, osu is obviously the easiest route.

It was the oddest injury I’ve ever seen. Not a big hit. He tried to drag/pull himself up but it just wouldn’t work. He was down for a long time then walked straight to the locker room without any help. But his walk didn’t give the impression that he’d return.

I think Sark said back injury in the post game press conference, I think he just landed awkwardly. Definitely a weird injury.
