There maybe some political brain rot buried under my reasoning there, but I don’t think it’s the overwhelming part and I don’t think it’s irrational.  It feels conservative. 


Yeah, this isn’t the 2009-21 market when cash paid 0.00%. If you can get 4% in a high yield money market it doesn’t seem like a dumb trade off at all. At least for someone that’s been overweight equities the last 15 years.
