  1. I'll 2nd CarMax as a place to sell your car hassle free for a fair price. I sold my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee last week to them.  I got on-line offers based on the VIN# and CarMax beat Carvana, AutoNation, Southpoint, and a couple of others by several thousand dollars.  And like Hornonthebayou said above, they wrote me a check for the full amount within 30 minutes of taking it to their lot.  They are the Easy Button for sure.

I've got a bunch of black algae in my deep end and I'm gonna start blasting it with a pressure washer this weekend.

Unless you scrub with a wire brush for days or dump 100 gallons of liquid chlorine in your pool, that shit won't go away.

I had a black algae problem two summers ago.  Here is how I got rid of it.  I bought some granular chlorine shock from Leslies.  The shitty kind that doesn't dissolve really well.   The fact that it doesn't dissolve fast will work in your favor.  Turn your pumps off.  You want the water still.  Throw scoops of power over the are with the black algae and try and let the granules settle on top of the area.  Leave it undisturbed for 24 hours.  Scrub the area with your pole brush.  Repeat as needed.  I think about 4 or 5 times with this process completely got rid of it for me.

Really only 250 hours on 23yo motors?

Yes.  The previous owner was my wife's uncle.  He had a lake house on Travis and the boat hardly left the dock.   He sold the boat to me a few years ago and we've replaced all of the fuel senders, batteries, fluids, etc and it's running great.  The dock fees are eating me up and I want to get a smaller boat.

  4. Last year I discovered a great product for fighting algae -  PoolRx.  I've struggled for years to keep algae under control.  Last year I tried PoolRx and it kept my pool algae free with no effort.  I wish I had discovered it a long time ago.  Just chunk it in your skimmer basket at the beginning of summer and forget about it.  It's a copper based mineral puck that costs about $60 on Amazon.  Good for the entire summer season.

  5. It was Christmas in prison
And the food was real good
    We had turkey and pistols
    Carved out of wood
And I dream of her always
    Even when I don't dream
    Her name's on my tongue
And her blood's in my stream

  6. I'm selling my 40' Cruisers Yacht 3870 if anyone is interested.  Asking $75k.  It's in the water now at Sail-n-Ski Lakeway, ready to be used.  It's a beautiful boat and in great working order.  Slip can be transferred.

15 years and a lot of weight to support.  Aside from the ceiling on the ground, you also see what I think are lights, usually supported to deck and some mechanical equipment fell too, usually has its own supports.

Those are called suspended ceilings,  usually installed with wire and shot into a concrete deck or metal deck, they use beam clamps and other methods as well.

They probably installed it (15 years ago) as if it were a ceiling in an office building as it was designed.

    21st century hassle.

In Mexico City, my wife and I were held up long enough that, in order to board our flight, we rode on a golf cart to the actual runway, as the plane waited to take off, and boarded by climbing stairs at the ass end of the jet.

I would like to say we flew into Love, and went to the Egyptian for pizza, but it was a long time ago.

What's Love got to do with it?
