  1. I don't post much, but I'm following this thread.

I've been trying to lose weight and get back into shape. Started around mid-December. I've been lifting almost daily since then. I don't like doing cardio so that part is pretty limited. I have been trying to get up and move around a lot more during the day though and getting my steps in. Also, I've really tried to focus on diet. I wish the weight loss would be more, but I am down from about 225 to 214 since then. I have put on a ton of muscle, so I'm sure my body fat percentage is much improved. Clothes all fit a lot differently. I've lost a lot of belly fat and am probably down 3-4 inches in my waist size. I'd eventually like to get below 200. Seems like at the current pace it will take me a few more months.

  3. I’m disappointed. There is no reason to watch the Rangers. Gallo was the lone bright spot. It’s now just a collection of journeymen and low end prospects that won’t be on the team when they’re good again. No confidence that any of these prospects will amount to anything.

There are a shitload of Wesley Hunt signs in River Oaks, and a fair amount in West U as well.  Although the Biden/Lizzie signs are out in full force in West U now too - I think Wesley just did a good job of pushing out yard signs pretty early on.  Still - lots of rich fuckers who will also be pulling the lever for Trump.  Good thing it's called the 1% for a reason when it comes to the polls.

The number of Hunt yard signs with no Trump signs just shows you how chickenshit most of these folks are.  And let's not delude ourselves and think anyone with a Hunt yard sign is going to be voting for Biden.

Lots of signs for Hunt in the Villages as well. Probably 25% of the houses also have Trump signs. I was asked to go to a fundraiser for Hunt this week and declined. Even if I was a supporter of his (I'm not), I don't really understand how effective a fundraiser this late in the game would even be.

  5. This is why things like OPEC++ and RRC don't matter right now. The free market has taken over. Supply is going to equal demand. The price will fall until it does. We need to take out roughly 30 million barrels a day of supply. Prices will fall to whatever point it takes to get enough shut ins to balance the market. Once the market is back in balance, prices will rise to whatever is needed to maintain that balance. It should be the marginal cost to produce the 70 millionth barrel (on an operating cost basis). No clue what that is, but I know it's a hell of a lot lower than the 100 millionth barrel. We'll also have a crazy amount of spare capacity to bring on line at a ridiculously low price.

Will be interesting to see how the SIs affect the rebound once we get back to some sort of normal after Corona. Will the reduced supply speed up price increases? I know refineries are taking capacity offline so some operators will be forced to SI.

I think it will ensure that the very bottom of this doesn’t last long. I’m thinking a one to two month bottom. I don’t think the rebound will be that great though. Say we bottom out at $10 for a month and then quickly rebound to $25.

that got me thinking of the "Newsradio" episode where Dave Foley has to tell the team what the media critic wrote about them, "Says here, we do a fine job."  And he spins it so that Hartman, et. al. think it's the highest compliment.

    Bill McNeal is adequate.
