UCLA 2010 was the most shocking loss I've been at, I think, because I was a junior and we had lost a single regular season game during my entire time in school to that point. It did not seem real.

They just spent a segment on Gameday railing on the faking of injuries. That damned sure came from on high and you can almost guarantee it is numbers driven. Guys like Rece Davis and Saban being as direct and specific around calling it cheating, dirty, unethical, etc., is not common for any subject. I’m neverminding the complete hypocrisy of Saban whining about cheating and ethics for this issue, largely because he’s right and also because it suits my POV as a fan.
During the OU/Tennessee game, Herbstreit called one of the OU players clearly taking a dive 'unethical as hell." I am expecting some of it from them today, too.

Playing the song gave them a good excuse to say it.

Higdon was always saying we were getting him, right?

Zach Evans?

Not that this isn't delicious, but weren't a bunch of posters calling him a scumbag who bangs co-eds like a week ago?
Just making it clear that I do not care what he does so long as it does not interfere with winning (legal jeopardy interferes with winning!).

Any stories or comments about how Pierce handled NIL? What would we expect the next coach to do differently?
Bobby has mentioned numerous times on OTF that Pierce focused on giving all of the existing players full scholarships, right?

Is this basically a loser gets the Texas job situation? Or are we locked in on Schloss.

So, I assumed a black kid from Florida with that last name meant he had Hatian ancestry, but apparently it's Irish https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ffrench#:~:text=It is a topographical name,%2C fresne"%2C ash tree.

LSU must have hired Daylon Mack as a recruiting staffer. Not sure I’d be taking credit for running that shithole state.
Daylon Mack is too busy being a professional Pokemon card player

Horn under a bad sign gets all his recruiting news from Orangebloods.
Husan Longstreet is quite the quandary for them, name wise.

Calling in riot cops to goose-step down Speedway and beat up peaceful protesters was beyond the pale. Hartzell probably has the support of the money, but that was awful.

lol yeah, my only complaint is about the number of podcasts, I don't have time to listen to them. It fills my need for entertaining background buzz. It's not like it's one of the Obama guys talking about kids getting massacred in Gaza and then cut to a Tinder ad. /no cr

How does somebody who cannot shoot the ball get ranked as a top 10 prospect? Ridiculous.
Basically every top 10-20 recruit we've had since Jordan Hamilton

ah yeah, spotify injects ads on top of the broadcast. I'm not sure if spotify premium removes these or not. You can listen on other platforms and those are not injected.
Spotify premium does not remove these ads, though they may be less frequent. I do get less dickpill ads

Martha Harris reminds me of a California Mike Davis
I don't think she reminds me of any former Texas football player tbh

JFC we were 1-4 going into the Texas OU game. A lot of those shitty years blend together for me... was that the year TCU launched us into the sun the week before?
Idk if it was the week before, but it's the only time I can ever remember the $9.95ers saying "actually practice this week sucked" and then we won

I say that with the full knowledge that they also have a giant tree branch stuck up their ass and are the same people who wrote law review articles about Jim Harbaugh's suspension, so who knows. But the money *should* theoretically be there.

I think unless something crazy happens that Michigan will be back to irrelevant on the NC level by 2026
There are a LOT of rich lawyers and finance guys that are Michigan alums. It's where the rich people in New York send their kids who they couldn't get legacy admitted into Ivies. They should not have a problem getting NIL ramped up at all.

I attended UT from 2008-2012 , thank you very much!
U-High started recruiting players 5-10 years ago (we were dogshit at every sport but golf - hi Patrick Reed! - while I was there) so they churn out 3-4 D1 football players every cycle now. Most do not go to LSU, but are also not at that level. LSU recently lost out on a corner to ND, when said player's father was an assistant AD at LSU in the 2000's (blanking on the names).
