Sarkisian said in the presser he didn’t put in Card because it wouldn’t be fair to put him in and make him try to save the day.

You could try and excuse the same rationale, maybe once, when Ewers was unbridled dogshit in Stillwater. But you have your head coach with (again) that sort of mentality tonight?

Sarkisian shouldn't be the head coach here. Pretty simple. I like the guy. But he's not fit to be leading a team.

Yeah that excuse doesn't hold water considering Ewers was showing signs of being MIA in the 1st half and it was a one score game for virtually the entire game.

He just needs to be honest and tell people he's fully invested in the Ewers project for the future and he's willing to sacrifice wins now so he gets experience.

Sark’s body language on the sidelines when shit turns sideways tells you all you need to know.

He squats down and buried his face in his play sheet and stares confused into the distance. How many times when they cut to a sideline shot is he taking to a player or another coach? Ya know…coaching?

He gets overwhelmed by the moment and goes to his happy place, which is staring at a bunch of plays on a piece of paper while the game goes on without him.

I have noticed this too. It's weird to me it's not a bigger topic of discussion. Herman and Strong caught hell for their poor body language during games. Sark squirms when shit goes left. It's all over his face. Another data point the guy is a coordinator not a head coach.

I imagine he looked tight because his QB was playing like shit and couldn’t execute any of the pass plays Sark was calling. How is a coach supposed to look when his QB is shitting the bed? Sark called a good game the plays were there just wasn’t executed, anybody saying this is on Sark is full of shit. We’ve seen these same plays executed by the same cast of characters.

We have a decent, above average backup QB that's probably better than 90% of the backups in CFB. If your starting QB is showing the nips in his first true road game, then it's your fucking job as head coach to make the move to the backup instead of standing there looking constipated all game. Gottdamn, how can you absolve him of any blame if you just admitted the starting QB "could not execute the offense"?

There has to be stuff and if @closetojumpingisn’t dead I’d love to hear a take.

Robison on the postgame said the team looked tight. That's how Sark looked on the sidelines all game. He looked uncomfortable, under pressure, unable to make the big boy decision. I swear it's Herman all over again in that aspect.

  5. When you have a bye week coming up, what the hell is the harm in bringing in Card to win that game then spending the bye week fixing Ewers issues? Now your team is mentally finished heading into a 2 week break & you have recruit coming off this L. This guy Sark is an enigma.

  6. The secondary was a total abomination today. Just sickening disgusting play from our DBs and safeties. Both position coaches should be fired along with PK obviously. Just clean house and give Patterson the keys to that side of the ball. He seems to want to stay in Austin for a bit and enjoy the golfing life.

It was posted on here by somebody else. Not that it actually responds to anything relevant to the discussion.

I understand dorks like you needing training wheels, but any sensible person who can discern the game views PFF's flawed grading system as a joke. It has zero relevancy to me.

Everything is a moral victory to A&M, we make memes about it. And if he actually bothered you that much, you could easily block and ignore him,  but be honest, you like this shit.

Never block. Wish he'd change that God-awful asterisks avi, otherwise he is harmless.

I've had the audacity to semi-acknowledge the seeds they are planting over there which has upset some of you. But I'm a UT fan/alum. I want to see A&M in the dirt. I don't like losing recruits to them. You say I like this shit, when in reality, for recruiting purposes, I would have LOVED to have seen them totally emasculated tonight on national TV. It didn't happen, now we're stuck having macro-level debates about its (lack) impact. It's not that serious to block someone, we'll see how things play out over the next few weeks.

What makes you say this?  They're recruited the #5, #6, #9 and #1 classes under Jimbo. Wouldn't year 5 be enough time for the talent to be overcoming Jimbo's deficiencies?

Because I realize without a very good QB it is extremely difficult to win big in modern CFB. I was never high on King, Calzada, or Mond but I'm extremely bullish on Weigman. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Jumbo is forced to make some changes to the offense if it flutters throughout the season which all of us obviously do not want to see. Other than that, they have a lot of pieces in place already in the trenches/skill positions to make a playoff run starting next season.

The point is I’m guaranteed to see you on the recruiting board after any aggy victory (moral or otherwise) but you go ghost whenever anything good happens to Texas.

You just like being miserable. You shouldn’t be surprised when people tell you to fuck off. Nobody is insecure, you are just annoying.

Glad you admit tonight was a moral victory for A&M, please explain to the bumbling idiot @Rickylovesweed who apparently gets high on his own stuff and starts tagging me several times a day about the impending demise of A&M and their recruiting class.

Sorry for the typos. Was typing on mobile outside smoking. I meant  "highest rated class in history." I get what you're saying, but I disagree. Clearly we won't see eye to on it.

What you guys are essentially telling me is to bury my head in the sand and ignore true freshmen Shemar Turner, Walter Nolen, Evan Stewart, Chris Marshall, Kam Dewberry going toe-to-toe with Bama all night b/c aggies have been shit forever and that's how it will always be. Yeah, I'm not getting on that train. They've never had this much talent, they have more coming, and will be on a bigger stage sooner than later.

Because we don't have a coach in year 5 making 10m a year with the history rated recruit class ever.

Recruits don't give a shit about how much a coach makes they care about that "history rated recruit class" and the ability to play with them (e.g. Hill's comments about choosing them).

    What are you even saying?

They're 3-3. You can keep spinning with "recruiting" and "next year is their year" like you have the last 5 years and it will only get dumber every year. I don't give a shit about their recruiting at this point.

When are they going to win you fucking moron? That's the point.

They are throwing a shitload of talented players at the problem so damn straight recruiting matters. Eventually, the talent will overcome Jumbo's deficiencies. But to answer your question directly, I've always said that 2023/24 are when they start winning big (playoffs). This is the year before the year for A&M much like it is for us. I have never been bullish on this QB so he'll either have to become serviceable over the next year or Weigman will need to be ready by next season. Either way, I am very bullish on them getting at least 9 wins next year and 10 the following year as long as they don't have a mass exodus of disgruntled players.

This notion that I have been predicting playoffs the last 5+ years for them is a total misnomer that you created out of your peanut brain.

We did the same thing you miserable cunt. And Bama had their Heisman QB for that game while we were stuck with our mediocre backup.

You sound insecure. Yes, we did the same thing. What is your point? If we did the same thing, why is one a recruiting victory and the other a recruiting setback?

  14. 17 minutes ago, Rickylovesweed said:

No, you’re just a bitch that defends anything from aggy because you’re so dug in on this take.

    3-3 bitch.

If what I was saying was wrong, you guys would be in here celebrating tonight but you're not. This was at worse a recruiting stalemate. Their next 4 games will determine how their class holds up.

  15. 1 minute ago, Rickylovesweed said:

    This is just sad.

Bama was without their Heisman caliber QB and you're still spinning a close loss. You can spin however you want because they're still 3-3 in year 5.

Here are aggys wins on the year.

Sam Houston State, Miami (2-3), and Arkansas (3-3). Have they even beaten a bowl team yet?

Yes, I'm well aware. Unfortunately, recruits don't care. They saw the #1 team pushed to the brink by a young up and coming team. I'm not trying to gaslight you, this is how recruits will see it.

    3-3 @Bruh Man

If this was Texas, in year 5, you would be saying to fire the coach.

Played Bama tight on the road with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores on primetime network television. Regardless of the record, tonight was a recruiting win for them not the epic collapse you guys were anticipating.

I've always said they will be really good in 2023/2024. Do you not see all the freshmen/sophomores playing, idiot?
