My wife wants to go to Monarch for my bday. I am very basic and love Javiers, as its also very convenient.
Does anyone have any experience with Monarch downtown? I don't want to read the whole thread.

It's supposed to be fantastic. I had a reservation for my birthday last November but we bailed and went to Tango Room instead. There were a few contingencies on the Monarch reservation -- like we had to guarantee to spend $250 to get a window table or we had to be gone in 90 mins at another table. Something like that. My wife no longer drinks and I'm pretty certain it wouldn't have been difficult to get to $250 on the overall bill off food (and booze for me) but the fact that it was part of the equation was off-putting.
All that said you can do tons better than Javier's with very little effort IMO.

I thought Monarch kinda sucked. Great views and "scene", but food was very meh. Definitely wouldn't go back for the cost.
That said, I was in Dallas last weekend and drove the rental to the Kellers on NW Hwy and flashed my flashers and had the best #5 burger I've ever had. I'll go to that meal for a big night before Monarchs again.

But I want some snapper.

Wife and I went to Monarch last Wednesday night as a start to a vacation without kids. We spent a stupid amount of money for the chefs choice tasting menu and the wine pairings. We both thought the food, wine, and service were all fantastic. Food highlights include the caviar/oysters first course, the grilled crab legs/claws with a table side flambe pasta (spicy sauce was great), and the waygu. The view was cool, and the wife loved the scene/vibe.

I skipped her segment yesterday. She’s hit or miss. I do like that Sarah doesn’t put up with Dan’s shit.
Jake was on with Ben and Skin today on Business Wednesday.

Tacos Goyo. I hit up the food truck in the parking lot of Ellis Home and Garden probably once a week.
Mi Casita is a local favorite too.- 1

It was great, but it overshadowed the dumb corby and Dave not understanding math which was great too.

Dumb zone is hitting its stride. Harolobos was fantastic today. What is he doing talking to a low level podcast?? Amazing.
First one with him was great too. Highly recommend.- 1

finally made my way through all of them. really just makes me insane they couldn't get the entire situation to work. curious what law cumulus flew in that appeared to have no idea what it was doing.
I'm not a lawyer, but I thought it was very interesting that the labor lawyer basically begged the Cumulus lawyers to get their own labor attorney. Dude even gave them a bunch of recs.

This has probably been discussed, but I can't find it. I think the answer is no, but wanted to check. We got a PS5 recently, and I created a PSN ID using my email and then selected an ID (ousucks123). The kid has been playing Fortnite and Madden using my account. I created him a child account, but can I move the id (ousucks123) to his account so he doesn't have to start over and lose progress and shit? Note: ousucks123 is a placeholder name and was obviously already taken.
