Nebraska out after all the protesting?
Ironic isn't it unless they are getting rid of Frost.

The CFP Committee says Merry Christmas Longhorn fans.

Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl to be held within days of each other.

Why are we wasting our time with #3 and #4? Just have Alabama play Clemson and be done with it.

Would actually help the PAC learn how to deal with different people.
Well then pick BYU.

If I remember correctly, the talk was always of Texas joining the PAC as those schools lined up best academically. I believe that plays a larger part than what fans realize. OU isn’t leaving without Okie St, so there would need to be one additional school. I’d say Baylor fits that best at the moment now that eATMe flew the coop.
With the PAC not doing as well, perhaps this would be an opportunity to negotiate with better leverage. I don’t think the Longhorn Network would be the hanging point it was the last time realignment was being talked about.
A PAC-16 (or rename it to something more fitting and get rid of the stupid number in the name) divined in east-west divisions. East being comprised of Texas, OU, Okie St, Baylor, Ariz, Ariz St, Colorado, and Utah.
Who knows, still have around 3 years to figure it out.
Baylor?

Why don't they let USC play Ohio State instead. Winner gets a playoff spot.

ESPN reports that Baylor is to appear before the NCAA this week. They still have not announced the penalties that Baylor and Briles will receive. That could very well scuttle any head coaching jobs for a while.

SHOCKING!!!
Of course they will, and a 6-0 Ohio State will get in the playoffs. What a joke.
-
Somehow the "committee" will find enough data points to get Ohio State in the playoffs.

It's amazing how some schools have dodged the virus cancellations most of the year and others can't seem to get a game played.

Restaurants are excited in Hattiesburg. Bret Bielema is reported to be in the lead to be the new Southern Miss head coach.

Finally some good news for the Jayhawk fans. No fans to be allowed for Kansas' last two home games.

Heaven help any Cowboy QB going up against Pittsburgh this week. I too would choose Covid over that.

As per the CBS Sports story this morning:
Neither of those figures were enough to trigger an automatic cancellation that comes with a COVID-19 positivity rate of at least 5% and a population positive rate of at least 7.5% in the neighboring area. Short of that, Big Ten protocols state teams can "consider viability of continuing with scheduled competition."
As many Wisconsin players coming down with the virus, Nebraska was fortunate not to have been around them at all. Cancelling the game was the right thing to do.

If Ohio State had the multiple tests Barry wouldn't say a thing.

Andy knocked out by head shot.

The Cowboys keep changing players and coaches but nothing ever changes and that's because of Jerry. Folks it isn't ever going to get any better until he's gone.
-
I can't think of one. Jerry Jones has Al Davised the Cowboys. All he needs is a white jump suit.
-
The entire team sucks. It will continue to suck until Jerry is no longer calling the shots.

It really doesn't matter who the quarterback is for the Cowboys as long as the defense continues to be inept. Jerry and Company continue to ruin one of the NFL's great franchises.

Lincoln Riley wishes he was an Aggie.

The Big 10 and the Pac 12 really leave no room to speak of for make up games. Better hope everyone remains healthy.
Realignment talk not going away

Currently the Big 12 holds far more cards than the Pac 12. I just have to think they are ripe for the picking. Being on the west coast is killing them on their TV viewership and future TV contracts. I really think the Big 12 can pull this off by inviting 6 or 7 of their best programs and putting together a TV and bowl package close to the Big 10 and SEC.
