What the Hell. This woman’s narrative is nuts. I’m not saying she’s wrong, because I don’t know, just that her story is nuts.

However, it wouldn’t surprise me to find a dozen cell phones that were registered in Israel on damn near any US campus. Colleges in the US are fairly well respected, aren’t they, and inexpensive?

college education is much cheaper in Israel than the US.  It helps that we give them that sweet sweet cash so they can have free helathcare, low cost education and government pensions...

  2. The Spurs have always been my #1 team*, they are the only NBA team I ever had season tickets for.  My first job (when I was 13/14) was working for the Spurs.  They use to have a hotline people could call to get the score of the game. My job was to listen (or rarely watch - they weren't on TV that much back then) and call in the scores. If you were alive during this time, it was me who would say "The Iceman has 43 points after 3 quarters, the Spurs lead the Nuggets 108 to 89!" at least for a few seasons. I never want them to leave SA.

I am just not a fan of public funds being used on stadiums where it has never been proven to benefit anyone other than the richest of the rich.

*I like all 3 Texas teams, I am in the minority I know.

Im not disagreeing with you, but the Holt’s are probably the least wealthy among the NBA owners. I don’t think they’re billionaires. They’ve put in more than I thought they would on the stadium and project. It’s not perfect, but imo losing the Spurs (which probably would’ve been the direct consequence of prop B failing) would have been devastating…to me as someone who lives close to San Antonio. I mean, flying to fucking Las Vegas? Are you out of your goddamn mind?

The Spurs team is is worth at least 5 billion.

I will guarantee that ticket prices are going to increase to the point of pricing the average person who voted for this out of the market.  They might throw a bone every once in-while for some HEB night cheap seats (then they play the Kings or Hornets no doubt).

I'm not sure why I'm doing this to myself and arguing with the biggest moron on this board and I won't even ask who you consider to be "SA voters" because you don't even know what area/roadways define the perimeter of downtown San Antonio. But if you go by the precincts that are inside Loop 410 (roughly the 3000 - 4000's) -- those are the ones who you would think are most directly impacted and who should definitely be considered SA voters... Prop B passed 79,403 to 69,974. That's 53% in favor. Those folks (i.e., the majority of SA voters) accounted for 60.5% of the total vote. The rest of the county? The other 97,333 voters who comprised 39.5% of the total vote in the "outlying Bexar county areas"? They went 50.5% for, 49.5% against.

Whatever. Run for your lives!!!! WE ARE RUINED!!!!  The drunk drivers are going to kill us all now that this 0.25% hotel tax is in place.

Billionaires can't be asked to pay for their own shit. They have to socialize it, so they take no risk and make all the gains.  If you can't see how it is fucked then you are the problem...

  5. Don’t drop the ball at the goal line.

I have never heard someone say “that guy is so cool, he dropped the ball right at the line!”

Give the ball to the ref or fucking spike it. It’s pretty simple.
