  1. I agree Geronimo is great and all but my favorite food in Santa Fe is at El Chile Toreado, a small, outdoor taco stand on Cordova Road near Trader Joe's. I would drive extra miles to get here if I were passing by town. The various tacos, burritos and hot dogs are phenomenal and dirt cheap. The cook/owner was trained at Le Cordon Bleu. Breakfast or lunch only.

There's a brand new brewery in town, Tumbleroot. They have a really nice beer garden with an adjacent, popular burger/sandwich food trailer, Bang Bite. Tumbleroot is out near Meow Wolf.

The best burger in town that I ordered was the alien burger at Second Street Brewery. The location at the railyard is pretty good.

There's live music pretty much every night at Cowgirl BBQ, or during the day on the weekends.

A less pretentious alternative to 10000 Waves is Ojo Caliente, about an hour outside of Santa Fe. Spectacular natural hot springs.

You'll want to make reservations at Geronimo. Restaurants at a similar price point you may want to consider are Sazon (interior mex) or Radish & Rye (american farm to table with a southern flair).

For a french bakery, you gotta check out Clafoutis. Also Sage Bakery is amazing too - breads, muffins, cookies, croissants. The almond croissant is great.

There is so much good food in Santa Fe, I'm sure I'm leaving off a few places worth mentioning...Tune-up Cafe comes to mind. Also the southern indian restaurant, Paper Dosa.

The amount of early offers going out around the state isn't necessarily doing Texas any favors, especially since many of them given out from schools like Alabama, LSU, and Georgia aren't committable. When one of those schools offers it makes players and their parents wonder why Texas hasn't offered.

I wonder if someone on staff needs to do a better job of proactively explaining this to recruits, potential recruits, and parents.

How would he know what was going on in Sumlin’s office anyway? He wasn’t allowed near there. Maybe Sumlin’s bathroom?

There must be a secret closet near aggy corps where toilet smurf changes into plumber smurf, for super duper top secret missions.

    Wha.........?

I can't find it but earlier in the thread someone posted a 9.95 update that had a blurb/joke about Jordan tweeting too much at a woman on twitter. I forget her name but that gif is her.

  5. Damn you guys are so busy arguing over whether to fire someone you have no way to get fired you didn't even bother to look up the young woman Jordan Whittington is apparently salivating over on twitter. It's like I don't even know you people anymore.

  6. Two things. My milk steaming skills have increased exponentially because of @Aphelion and this thread. Also what I think is perhaps an underrated aspect of having a home espresso machine is being able to use the type of milk you want to at home instead of compromising at a coffee shop. Shout out to A2 Milk which if you don't know what it is, is well worth an internet search.

I'm so jealous.  Is it connected to a drain too, to get rid of the excess water?

We didn't hook up the drain too because the machine is just a few feet away from the sink so just seemed like it made more sense to avoid adding a hole into the countertop.

Have it plugged into an appliance timer so at 6am the machine is fired up and ready. In my mind I've amortized the cost over 5 years so the cost seems pretty reasonable. Hopefully it'll last a lot longer than that.
