Since CDC hasn't made a post on X/Twitter congratulating the baseball team on a hard-fought-year/blah, etc., that sure as Hell seems like a sign that DP is Gone/Kaput/GTFO, and the next thing we'll hear is that news (DP fired) along with his replacement in the same post.

As @Valmy77 said, I'm also glad that DeLoss Dodds is gone because I was sick of him never saying he "fired" anyone. It was always the Bullshit Bellmont line, "X has been reassigned within the department," and then Shitcanned later out of public view. He fired them, so he needed to fucking say it.

Pierce must be FIRED in July!!

Definitely !    But his mission was to heal the wounds of the alumni after Patterson for which he succeeded.

Fenves and higher ups (Powers?) are more to blame than Perrin imo.  He was called on to bridge to the next AD, but it didn't even fill like an interim job ny the time we hired CDC.

BTW, he was a helluva a player before being injured. Mke Campbell can go on about this.

Talent level wasn’t there this year. I’d blame him for portal failure but no idea what kind of nil budget hes working with.

I think we should host most years, but it seems like our baseball NIL is not great.  That will influence any coach looking at accepting the job.  It should influence our decision-makers (though to what extent, I don't really know).

You have to donate at least $500 now to qualify for priority OU tix. But yes, many below that threshold will get an email about OU tix in August. Just pay attention though, as I got mine about 2 hours before my window and missed it. Upped my donation this year to avoid that shit.

I don't mind the wait.  When the demand is there, they will sell out.  We're not there yet.

I think every season ticket holder who has requested them has gotten OU tickets since they expanded the Cotton Bowl…

I got them last year, just had to wait until like August before they offered.

One slight change. Larry was the first to sign a 4 year LOI. Jimmy Blacklock

signed a 2 tear LOI out of Jr college/ As far as Larry's recruitment, Hobbs had a kid

by the name of Kyle Williams who everyone wanted. That's when our coaches

    saw Larry.

Hobbs basketball was the shit back when Ralph Tasker was there.

I listened to part of the ON3 Sooner Scoop “Unofficial 40” podcast (it is impossible to listen to all of it, unless you care deeply about collegiate softball). It’s a great example of how fanbases obsess on their teams and know little about others.

They suggested Lole flipped to Texas because he was concerned about the competition for playing time at OU (because, in their minds, Murphy and Sweat leaving means there has to be an empty cupboard behind?). Also, they are already counting Damonic Williams as a dominant player. They also suggested the reason OU was inactive on Edges in the portal was due to there not being any really good ones (Trey Moore?). They talked a lot about not going to the portal if you like your young players and can count on them developing.

To that last point- those young, developing players? You better have NIL built in for that, or you’re just going to develop them for Ole Miss or Oregon. Or Missouri, like they lost that freshman OL to.

Tbf, Gerry and Bobby indicated that Damonic Williams was the best NG in the portal.  The rest does sound like what I'd expect from zero u.

In fairness to some of the LSU posters, it is true that Dakorien Moore is not worth it.

His NIL guarantee would be a significantly larger portion of LSU’s budget than Texas’, and they need that money elsewhere.

Also, they have a history of recruiting instate WRs and turning them into top picks.

Moore is a bidding war that they needed to lose for the good of their team.

    "L" is for loser.
