I'm active. I love being outside, doing stuff outside. I gravitate to cities/areas which support being outside. When I visit these areas, the biggest thing that stands out is the weather, the second biggest thing that stands out is that the people living in these areas are not fat as fuck. Texans are obese as fuck. The two go hand in hand.

    Rockies:

    snowboard, ski, cross country ski, hiking in the winter;

hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fly fish, camping in the summer.

winter and summer: enjoy the fuck out of the scenery

year round fun. that's the lifestyle that i want to live.

BBQ and Mexican foods must be damn good in Texas

I hope he sings “without me” and doesn’t edit the part about calling Moby a 36 year old bald fag

Maybe he’ll edit it to Goodell being a 62 year old anti football pussy.

Reading closer into that list and there’s some WTF with their categories. Touting the big Gulf petro-caliphates’ “foreign born” percentage as a draw is laughable. I mean, I guess for some people it’s a draw to have a vast population of South Asian and Filipino laborers and domestic servants kept in indentured servitude.

Hey now! Don't you be messing with us pinoys. We have good lumpias and balut! lol

My top 5 (I’m fortunate to be very well traveled)

    London
    NYC
    Moscow
    Tokyo
Berlin (most underrated city on earth imo - go spend a week there)

Haven’t been to the Middle East outside of Cairo so can’t speak to Istanbul which is supposedly amazing in every way.

If this was a livability list it’d be different and Madrid would be #1.

Any visits to Hong Kong or Singapore?

Second most beautiful city in the world behind Prague.  Biased but Chicago is gorgeous.  This just came out as well.  Anyways, check the pics out on the link and argue with me…

Yeah man, we live in a great town. It ain't perfect and things could be better. But for the most part I love the Windy City.

Sark trotted out Card to start the second half. He wanted him to win the job.

I think going with Casey this week vs. Rice is a bit reactionary, but I guess that's what happens when you get curb stomped on national TV and piss off the entire fanbase.

It’s why I wish Sark had put in Casey a lot sooner to get an idea of what Casey does when the game was still competitive.

I think Elko would leave for Rutgers, BC, Maryland, and Pitt. Maybe. A blue blood won’t hire a DC with zero coaching experience. Even then, I’m not sure. The guy makes a fantastic salary and doesn’t have to deal with many of the HC headaches.

Temple is probably too small. He could call their AD right now and get the job.

What about a DC position at USC with more money?

Texas knows fully well that they will have to stay on top of the Tapp recruitment the whole way through. Many on the staff have won kids out of Louisiana for other schools and know the drill. While change is slow and facing headwinds, there is work to get the gears greased and grinding. There’s been work being done from all sides since Sarkisian got here. Texas has a long history of looking the other way in basketball and that is being pointed out rather sharply these days.

Regarding NIL, Texas is being reserved out of caution on team morale concerns and first mover disadvantage. I think both of those notions are bureaucratic vaginal shit, but there you go. As long as Plonsky has her thumbs on the scales in compliance, this is going to be an uphill battle.

I’ll say this though - there is more activity and inquiry right now from the alumni base at every level than at any time in history. Things like Burnt Ends are highlighting that the masses have gained unprecedented power that cannot and will not be ignored, and the bigger money is fucking tired of watching guys like Quinn Ewers and Jaylen Waddle matriculate elsewhere.

In the AD, I just imagine Crystal looking down at a delivered head of Chris Plonsky in a basket and saying the quiet part out loud: “If they can sack Plonsky, they could sack … me.”. The day is coming for some of these fucks and notice is being taken. Still will take awhile.

I’d like to think Plonsky is feeling uneasy about her job right now and can only imagine her reaction when she found out we were headed to the SEC.

The boom-bust cycle in OU WR receiver recruiting continues. In years that OU doesn't bring in a top QB (even number years), WR recruiting drops too.

Doesn't really make sense.  Messes up the depth chart and costs scholarships at other positions too.

Your ‘23 class is looking real good though at WR.
