  1. Yeah I tried pre ordering on Best Buy and only got as far as the checkout page and was on there for like 2 hours clicking on the Continue to Payment button until being told they had already sold out. Apparently it's happened at all the other big box stores as well. Walmart will reopen up again on the 22nd(or will they do it earlier?) and Amazon doesn't even have an opportunity to preorder yet.

I saw something on the news claiming that they were only going to have 11,000,000 units to sell instead of a planned 15,000,000 because of supply chain problems with some part(s).

I saw that too but then I saw another article saying that Sony denied those claims. We'll see I guess.

i got really into season one, but it turned out to really be the 80's nostalgia more than anything. started S2 and didn't get last ep.1. not a terrible show, but not all that gripping either.

That's the way I saw ST also. The show is more aimed for people who like 80's nostalgia. The plot isn't anything new or unique. I like it but I don't think it should've gotten more than one season.

  4. Loved the Leftovers. One of my favorite shows of all time. International Assassin was my favorite episode. The well scene in there was probably my favorite scene of all of television.

Which of his books have you read other than 11.22.63?  Have you read IT?  If not, read IT.

Shamefully that's the only one. Mainly because I've seen most of the movies that are based off his books like IT. I know books and movies are different but I feel like reading a book after seeing a movie takes away some of the suspense.

The book doesn't necessarily have to be by Stephen King. 11/22/63 was one of those books that just kept me anticipated most of the time with a sad ending.

It's my favorite, but occasionally I go back and forth between it and IT.

Looking for another book similar to 11/22/63. My coworker recommended The Talisman. Just started it and kind of hard to follow what's going on.

Herman doesn't want Harrell to control the offense? Is that what Nahlin is reporting?

Basically. He's saying money isn't an issue and Harrell is there for the taking. Tom is having second thoughts on ceding entire control of the offense.

  8. 6 games I've got pre-ordered for this year are: Borderlands 3, Modern Warfare, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein Youngbloods, Death Stranding, and the Outerworlds. I think 2020 will be the bigger year with Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost Tsushima, and Last of Us 2. Also with the next gen consoles coming out that year too.

Bran was adamant that Jon needed to know right now.  Why?  How does it help in the Great War?  It could conceivably unite all of the armies at their disposal, but they pretty much already are, or they wouldn't all be in WInterfell to fight the common foe.  It adds unnecessary friction at a time when it could do more harm than good.

Possibly because Bran=Night King and wants division.

although the bandwidth hit will be enormous this time around, and numerous times in the last 2 seasons i've multiple people complaining that HBO Go or streaming HBO has gone out.

I seem to remember a shaggy post maybe 3 seasons ago where HBO Go went down for something like 2 hours on the season finale day

Yeah I’ve had those problems as well. Haven’t had an too much of an issue watching it via PS Vue though.
