And they have a shit load of fans to drive up ratings.
Plus, they're just a blast to hate on. If Aggy wanted to rejoin the Big 12 I'd love it. They'd be convinced they'd go undefeated every year and then punk UT in the playoffs, and they'd end up going 8-4 every fucking year just like they do now because it's what they do.
If I were Yormack, I would play into the aggy psyche to get them into Big12. All he has to do is praise them, call them champions, and practice their traditions (humping and other degenerate acts) a couple of times. Tell them that they don’t need SEC money but a stage to showcase their championship pedigree without the nefarious UT scheming to keep them down. Seal the deal with a few gentlemanly handshakes regarding premium level membership and aggy would trip over themselves in making ingratiating videos to their former and since new conference mates.

Ravens are playing scared from the start.

The 3rd down was about 6 inches short, and if they had spotted it correctly, the 4th down would have been successful.

It’s because you keep saying ‘natty’
staaaaaaaahhhhhp
I have a proposal for @immamac
- auto-correct natty to NC or national championship when a post is submitted
- add 10 negs to the post.
- extra-credit: keep natty counts for each poster and increase the negs by 10 for each occurrence.

So is he or is he not still in Schembechler Hall?
A typo. Juicy meant Schrödinger hall.

Mid 90s as well, but easier since graduate school classes I took typically had less than 10 students in them.
The pause was more dramatic when listening for grades (hi, “D as in David”).

I am the perfect negative indicator as a coach picker. I loved the Herman hire, was highly skeptical about Sark, and was actually worried when Aggy hired Jimbo. ADs should hire me and immediately blackball my top choices. In short l, I'm just a simple farmer, person of the land, the common clay of the new west. You know, a moron.
I'm saying this because I think bama knocked it out of the park with this hire. So that's a great sign for us and our SEC chances with one less contender to deal with.
But did you include this realization when concluding about Alabama’s new coach? You have to let your mind go completely blank to get these things right.

Same. I don't hate my job, or even dislike it that much, but I am fucking done.
Yeah, I don’t like all that comes with a job, from people jockeying for position to performance reviews, but being paid to do R&D in a rapidly evolving field that matches your natural inclination is too good to say goodbye to. Of course, the money is still the number 1 reason.

I'm too dumb and old to know how to actually check this, but someone on BOL is claiming that Bubba Hampton said on Instagram Live that Sark is being rumored.
I hope not. Based on previous comments/opinions (1-2 years old), Saban’s preference is Sark taking over when he retires.

Back in the day, in ME 202, Introduction to Mechanical Engineering, we were given the task of building an "Aggie Cooler", a device to cool off over heated Aggies (the Association of Generally Gross Incompetent Egotists). It was well known when 2 or more Aggies got together, they would work themselves into a heated frenzy when talking about TSIPs (the Texas Society of Intellectual People).
The Aggie Cooler was required to launch a water balloon from a safe distance (30 meters) to cool down the overheated Aggies.
Please know that in your own way, you Surly Horn posters are continuing one of the most sacred of Longhorn traditions.

I watched the game at my brother’s place in Seattle with his 3 kids being UW grads/students and son-in-law being a Michigan fan (Berkeley grad but Michigan native). Felt bad congratulating them when I was so confident that we would win the NC based on the Rose Bowl play. To punish them, I am going to be a contrarian the whole week in our WhatsApp group.

No. If he gets tackled in bounds, the game ends.
True. I am thinking he will be taking a wide and shallow wheel route to get near the other sideline.

If you've got a right armed passer, you want that ball on the left hash mark. That fucking swing to Blue, on the short side of the field no less, was a jackass call
That swing pass, if you want to call it, should have been to the left to allow Blue room to outrun the pursuit.

this is one sloppy game.

Michigan is very good and they are being aided by a still-in-the-bus Alabama OC.
-
Harbaugh went the cute route with the different QB first down play

Mich. D line that good,or Bama O line that bad?
Bama O schemes are very limited. Look at Michigan complementing their run game with passes attacking the width and gaps whereas Alabama is screwed when it has to pass.
-
Alabama passing game is very unimaginative. You need 5 seconds to drop 7 steps and survey the field.
-
Michigan O looks similar to ours.

Horn crowd at Fulton Alley very much pulling for Michigan
Probably the closest to us as a university considering both sports and academics. Maybe another one is Florida.
-
both are tied despite a TO. Let's see if Bama can go the length of the field.

That's how the BIG keeps the games interesting?
so Trev Alberts (yes, THAT Trev Alberts) just left the AD job at Nebraska for the same job at A&M
