Y’all also like to brag about how cheap your haircut is. $3 is like y’all’s 5 minute mile.
🙂 Hey, where can I get in on that action? That's just outstanding.

Desi people are hilarious. No offense to our resident desi folks, but they do love perceived status symbols, but hate spending money. Such as, buying a large house in Fulshear but not buying any furniture for it.As a desi, I can say that we, as a general rule, look for value that lasts. A house is good investment, especially a nice one that one can live in as opposed to a stock brokerage account. I agree that quite a few like to humblebrag a lot and a house is a nice way to do it. The best humblebrag is for desis is, of course, where their kids go to school and their majors.
Regarding Teslas, I have an old BMW i3 and looking for an EV. I overanalyze all my big purchases and I am hard pressed to find a better deal than Model 3 and Model Y in 40k-50k range. My next choice, Mach E, is selling at high 40s for the base trim. I found a 2018 Model S 100D with 70k miles at low 40s and I am so tempted to get it.

Watching Ja for the first time, for being such an out-of-control and poor shooter why is he taking so many shots?
-
GS played good D the last couple of minutes to make for errors.

One may forget that there is no TO but how can you not see that you can milk the clock?

After getting jaded by watching Warriors winning, it is nice to see another team enjoying playoff success.

that ball should have gone to Curry

If KSU plays a bit less recklessly, they would be way ahead.
-
Also, why do so many go for a layup when a dunk is as easy? Many of these layups are misses. Is it just trying to save energy, though they jump about the same for both.
-
KSU with very sloppy plays. Wasting such as great pass on an easy layup miss.

you forgot /sarc for avoidance of doubt
Yeah, they couldn't be more open and set if it were a shootaround.

I was unaware that Kstate is capable of missing a 3 pointer
I haven't seen a team miss so many open 3 point shots.

everything is a foul in this game

Tennessee has a nice mid-range game and defending well.

FDU played like a champion. Big kudos to the little (figuratively and literally) guys.
-
I'll give up the drive to the basket and guard the 3.
-
These commentators are rooting for Purdue. That is a foul.

I thought N Kentucky was impressive yesterday but FDU is playing even better except for the 3-pt shooting. If Purdue center is not there they would win easily.
-
N Kentucky is doing everything well except making the ball go through the basket.

Also, I suspect their coaches/AD want to minimize tough permanent rivals and would be glad to not play LSU every year. They will be happy with UT, MSU and USC.

Yep, the biggest change should be that there is a ref in the box with 4+ monitors showing different angles live. Whenever he/she sees a discrepancy, he/she buzzes in the correct answer. This can be done in less than 30 seconds, which means the plays continue as long as there is no incoming buzz. No need for a field ref to take a movie break.
Currently, the whole review is almost theatrical; with the ref ceremoniously announcing that there is going to be a review, then the majestic jog to the sidelines, the donning of the headphones and the slight crouching for an exclusive view that we, the peanut gallery, is not privy to, and finally the royal edict that proves that they are after all emperors without clothes, i.e., big 12 refs.

Makes you question his rooting interest.

I heard (no evidence) that those national chain Patel store owners are big Modi fans, which means they are not my preferred place to shop. Unfortunately, a lot of US based desis seem to support Modi and his rapid radicalization and power grab in India. Very sad and portends very bad news to minorities and eventually to the whole nation.
