  1. Then have if for a month. Next weekend will also be reacharound games...
  2. If we don't, get it in February of next year.
  3. I expect likewise from us as well. LFG.
  4. My first road Texas baseball game was the 1998 Tempe regional. Texas came through the losers bracket. It was the first time it ever dawned on me I could go to a road game. Many happy returns later. It was bloody hot and my boots stuck to the asphalt when I crossed the street, and they kicked us out of the stadium between games and I did have a car, so I went to the first hour of the next movie starting, Mission Impossible II. I've never seen the end of that movie. The ASU fans said that I should come back when it was hot. They also complained that Texas was going to have to play the super regional opponent here in Tempe next week. Neither of those things ever happened. </bill littleesque>
  5. Minimum of 55 minutes after the end of the first game.
  6. We have seen the best stuff from UTSA.
  7. Maybe he still does?
  8. Crooked Numbah! LFG
  9. K-State bringing in the closer..
  10. L.F.G. They don't run rule in the tournament do they?
  11. It's not a red flag that Stanford would not pay him? He's a senior now and did not play his freshman year. Does he really have that much leverage? His last year in the Pac-X was better than the Big10 performance. He also pressed our poo in pretty good at the Palo Alto Supers in that season.
  12. well he shut them down.. get those runs back.. LFG
  13. There is a game today?
  14. four more hours
  15. If needed, clarify the rule in the offseason. If it is actually egregious, today as a point of emphasis.
  16. Congrats to you if it happens, and that's an ASU level destruction of a program if Virginia loses him.
  17. This also happened last year as well. https://www.statesman.com/story/sports/college/longhorns/baseball/2024/05/16/weather-damages-section-of-texas-baseball-stadium-before-kansas-game/73722691007/
  18. I've been very interested in relegation. Soft version of that would be an NIT level event for 65-96. Or you could add two teams to each regional taking you to 96 teams. 3v6, 4v5 with 1,2 getting a bye. Of course one could argue the conference tournaments are the first round of the playoffs and things were fine. I remember when they expanded the field from 48 to 64 and it seemed at the time it was harder for bubble out teams to make it after that. Southland conference was hosed this year and I'd be pissed about it.
  19. But they are not doing that, they are rewarding losing in the SEC over winning in other conferences.
  20. It depends on which lens you bring to the argument. UTRGV and Southeastern Louisiana got rogered in the Southland Conference for Houston Christian. I'm also having a hard time with my zealous assertion that Oklahoma and Kentucky should not have made the tournament (SEC or NCAA) with a losing record in conference.
  21. The tournament should be 100% auto-bids. Anything that is not a play-in is figure skating and not a sport.
