  2. For all the things Houston does really well, shooting isn't one of them.  They go through stretches of awful shooting.

    Of course, that does help pump up the rebound numbers.

    Don't know exactly what happened there, but I have noticed Gasparino is one of those guys who is always asking something of the ump.

    So on a swing and miss or a foul ball, he'll turn and ask if that pitch would have been called a strike.  

    On a called strike, he'll ask things like 'Is that the bottom of the zone? or Is that the outer line of the zone?'   Shit like that.

     

    Most umps blow it off and just say yep and move on, but it does start to get on some of the umps nerves.
