  1. Even GS has been draft and develop when you take out the KD move.  The only super teams that have ever won had only involved Lebron.
Celtics big 3 (4? Does rondo count?) sort of a mix of both. But that was an entirely different era at this point.
  2. It will never happen, but if the NBA wants parity they are going to have to implement something where each team can only have 1 Max player. Other wise it is going to remain super teams and the squads like pistons and rockets will have a ton of young players and could be fun, but will never actually be a threat.
They arent going to be able to keep their young squads together for 7-8 years to get them to their prime, and they arent going to be able to add an all NBA player to their young core to make them competitive.

    It really is lottery purgatory.
Celtics and Nuggets are basically home grown.

Lakers and Heat less so... but those two teams, specifically, rarely are.

I don't think "super teams" are as big of a problem for the NBA as load management. Which, as a Spurs fan, is not easy to admit, considering Pop basically started the trend.

  3. The HEB closest to my house (hancock) has been out of  the Carolina Reaper cheese puffs for a couple of weeks now, so I opted for the cheese crunchy option (think cheetos) for a fix. Not terrible, but nowhere near the perfection that the puffs are. I give the puffs a 10 out of 10, these get like a 7.

Just tried the Carolina reaper puffs. Not sure if they're always available and I've just missed them or they're special edition. Holy fuck balls they are perfect

  4. It also means Alan Ruck was about my age now when he filmed Ferris Bueller.

I got sucked into an article last On the brilliance of the wardrobe designer in succession.  I laughed at first but became entranced.
    Link to article?
  5. Y'all ever read "if you give a mouse a cookie"?

    Well.... It me.

Contractor came over to price it out and managed to convince us to go big. Went from simply swapping a chandelier to installing 5 LED "faux can" lights and painting the entire ceiling white, instead. Gives us a lot more options with the room - - no longer locked in to it being a dining room based on a light fixture, which is nice since we spend so damn much more time at home nowadays

  6. I put down pre last week and the instructions were very clear about what not to do if you had plans to seed an area. Since we have St. Augustine, it's not so applicable to us as i don't put down any rye, etc, but yeah the pre then seed is a 'don't make no sense' even for amateurs like me.

And, dadgum brown patch. I have two basketball sized spots in the area adjacent to my neighbors sprinkler heads even with putting a fungicide down twice (late spring) and mid summer. Can I give it a blast of liquid F-Stop or am I wasting my time? Any product that works better? I'm tempted to just dig up the grass and put a garden bed there, but it's adjacent to the property line and an awkward place to have one.
Am I wasting my time with this stuff? I'm reading the recs in this thread but I'm a little too preoccupied by toddlers to research the purchase tbh9feae38b2dc223735567e7431b427756.jpg
  7. So premergent goes down this weekend.... What's the next thing I have to add to my list? Am I waiting a few weeks and doing grass seed like my neighbor suggests.... or is that wrong? Seems odd to lay down a growth stopper and follow soon after with a growth starter.... What says my friends here on the internet?
