So with SE Asia looking less and less likely this year due to their cases starting to climb I expect I'll need to look at another destination.   After Cambodia and Laos my next targeted country was going to be Panama.    They look to be about as open as can be.   Anyone have any recs? insights? itinerary?  I also might want to look at expat areas for retirement to contrast with Costa Rica.  Odds are Ill go solo but might be able to add a friend or two.

I presume the hookers are as open as can be?

Miami sucks for solo guys not trying to get laid. It's awesome to spoil your lady or for chasing tail. Everything is crazy overpriced and the look but don't touch rule is pretty much a deal killer.

I'm talking about Fishing off shore all day and then you come back to eat a meal in a good restaurant. You would be invisible and thats the idea. Agree otherwise.

  4. IMHO...a lot depends on where you live. I had one when I lived in a 25th floor Penthouse in NYC. I had one of those Electric/InfraRed grills. I found it rarely got as hot as I wanted it it and if it was cold out? forget it, no way it would make temp.

but the top sushi place in NY, all the fish is properly aged frozen for weeks before being served.  I

no, this is very incorrect. I know first hand that many places source their fish directly from boats and from the Market, which in turn is getting fish that is "hours" old. Yes, there are fine restaurants that buy frozen, and I don't know what you consider to be "the top" but you comment is not accurate.

Yeah. I believe it was fenced but not locked. It’s not a high traffic area so he didn’t think it would be an issue. Unfortunately he was wrong.

low traffic area means low likelihood of being seen in the act. Sorry for your loss
