  1. Retail is what it is, but Home Depot and Lowes have pretty flexible part time positions.

I can’t drive in this town anymore. There’s too many god damn people, there’s construction everywhere, people forgot how to drive after Covid and can’t stay in their lanes, and there are wrecks on every major highway at all times of the day.

I'm tired of being stuck behind dumbasses on their phones, riding their brakes and doing 40 in a 65

The nukes are untouchable so it does have its perks, they avoid the majority of the navy’s bullshit.

I hear Nuke school is a bitch though and then as a newb on the ship, you are still working shitty watches with the rest of the snipes

When is a pint not a pint?

We were at the one on Burnet and they were serving jelly fish in 12 oz glasses and not the usual 16oz pint glasses

a small pizza at pinthouse that used to cost $8.99 is now $12.99. their pizza is fine but that 50% increase is some bullshit.

Opinions on Altstadt Oktoberfest beer. Noticed that HEB is carrying it. In past years I have enjoyed Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer.

I haven't had the Alstadt, but I highly recommend Real Ale's Oktoberfest. RIP Thirsty Planet, their Smittlefest was pretty damn good too.

  7. Like said above water longer and less frequently
If you have a sprinkler system, set them to run early in the morning, like 3-4ish
I have bermuda, which is more draught tolerant then StA, but I run mine 1 day a week. Each zone 20 minutes, 6 zones. Then I run the cycle 3 times. 3:30, 5:30, 7:30. For the most part that prevents run off and 90% of my yard is surviving with out extra watering.
I would think if you could do something like that twice a week your StA would be surviving.
