Brown should go to OSU their QB room isn’t stacked enough for the next 10 years. I was told croots want to play
tosu is obviously selling that at least 2 qbs will enter the transfer portal. but he'd still be better to come here and compete with ewers, than sit there for 2 more years guaranteed.

I make that trade
I could tolerate a qb room next year of Ewers, Brown and Maalik

Mike at Night
— I caught up earlier today with four-star quarterback Devin Brown to get the latest on his recruitment. Texas is still in strong standing, but Ohio State put up a big fight when they hosted him last weekend for a visit. Some close to the recruitment thought Texas had a comfortable lead, but the gap may be closing. Texas has a great path to playing time in their favor where Ohio State has a much more stacked depth chart at the position. That could be a key component in the race for the coveted passer.
The only way this could be true is if tosu told Brown that Ewers was transferring to Texas and he'd have competition there too.

Terry Joseph better be gone and we need to do a full court press on Corey Raymond. It's time he moves on and we need to money whip him into saying yes. Coleman is a goner, can't believe he was retained.

Sure hope Devin Brown wants playing time because he was at tOSU today for the show they put on
that's a four year sit. how can watching a freshman QB do that combined with a crowded qb room make you want to go there

For a guy that just got raped by Baylor.
Baylor rapes everyone and everything

This kid hasn't shown the capability of making good decisions. I'm not holding my breath. He'll probably sit for another year and then transfer somewhere. Too late to ever play for the school he grew up rooting for.

4OL, 1QB, 3LB, 1 Edge, 1 Safety

And sad…
NO it is NOT SAD, 3 days later He rose from the dead. TEXAS FOOTBALL shall also rise from the dead of this year to new life.
I haz the faith! Barring this class falling apart, I believe Sark will get it done.

Is he though?
yeah if you ever saw him play wide receiver. I think he'd make a great safety

PK won't be here next year
Unless he convinces Sark that he and Lake are 1+1=3 and Lake agrees to come on board
-
So no word yet from the recruiting sites on recruit's reaction

Herbstreit and Sark are buds. Of course he's saying that.
Maybe their buds because Kirk watches a lot of college football and he's seen enough to know who's good and whom to respect

How well liked at Washington is PK? Because this could work out for us if they're interested in him.
it's going to be the other direction, just wait and see. Lake and PK together again, Austin version

So who would the DC targets be if PK does get let go? Mine would be:
First call to Muschamp to see if he (and his wife) are ready to get back in the game.
Jim Knowles (Ok St.)
Glenn Schumann (UGA co-DC. Risky choice for sure.)
Kevin Steele - could theoretically step in today
Derek Mason
Arnett
Outside chance but I could see Saban looking to replace Golding depending on how the season plays out, in which case he'd probably be Sark's choice
done, that'll be $9.95

The only argument I hear for keeping Sark is from people who believe in the sunk-cost fallacy.
He's gotta go and we need to hire someone young, hungry and competent who can build a program, preach patience, and who is well-connected and respected in Texas. Traylor would be perfect.

Schooler is basically Dylan Haines part II. He isn't there because he is the best, but he is the best we have. That is the eye-opening part. If Sark doesn't his the portal and recruit better players instead of stars then he might not even get 3 years.
Dylan was twice as talented as Schooler, now that's still not a big number

His brother on our team literally told them not to come here.
And we showed him by making him a starter so the whole world can see that he is the shittiest football player in the world.

You’re probably right, but we all know how this song goes. He’s not going to get Texas where they need to be and he’s going to get fired. Why fuck around with 1-3 more years of this bullshit? I don’t know if you remember Mack”s first year, but we got blown out in some early games, but we showed steady improvement and probably could have beaten anyone by the end of year 1. This Sark shit is a whole different story.
sark is off to a terrible start, no doubt and yes Mack's team improved in year 1 but he had a much better roster.
People talk about firing Sark now, well we just wrote a huge check to get rid of Strong, then another one for Herman and we gave Sark a big guarantee, people are fed up with writing big checks for this fuckers. It would be cheaper to write a check for Evan and a couple of offensive linemen
-
good thing we have the south endzone for these country club athletes to lounge around in luxury and work on their NIL deals. Great recipe for changing a soft culture.
-
Just think, if it weren't for Mack, we'd have Saban

Do you think Sark can lead Texas to a national championship? I’m seeing Charlie Strong level game management and coaching here, what’s the fucking point of hanging on other than “that’s how we have always done it?”
Like I said, perhaps. He would need the right compliment of assistant coaches. We all thought this was an all-star cast, but we were wrong. He needs a tough ass DC like a Muschamp to play the bad cop to his player's coach good cop. He's clearly a great offensive mind. Can he pull the other parts together, well we'll see because you're fucking kidding yourself if you think he'll be fired this year or next
