I’m sure this goes on but can they put the real stuff behind VIP or something and the fake rumors on the free part? Would make sense, why drum up drama for the current subscribers. Hell make a story that Ryan Williams is thinking of flipping but put it as free…don’t need no drama just for drama pshh

You're not new here.  Be better than this.

9.95ers rely on impulse subscribers on high emotional/excitement days.  They aren't putting bs rumors on the free side when they can post then in the VIP and get idiots to subscribe to know what the rumor says about what amazing 5 star out of nowhere is going to flip to or away from their school.

    That'll be 9.95

No, the whole thing stinks. Even when its a positive for the team I enjoy.

I don't entirely disagree.  I think the December and spring transfer portal is too much.  I also think it should be ironclad one time transfer no appeals or grad transfers or any of that garbage.  One transfer portal for 2 weeks in the spring.

But I was born old and grumpy...

  3. Shockingly as usual the 9.95ers don't know their own damn business.  IT will be hurt significantly by this.

As for Bobby and Gerry?  They'll probably come out ahead.  The mob loves someone with a personality.  Bobby comes off as genuine and having a good time.  The mob will continue to watch him and follow his show because he is entertaining and doesn't act like what he is covering such a serious endeavor....nor does he take himself too serious.  Gerry is the perfect bit of seriousness and knowledge to go with Bobby.  They'll be fine.... heck in the current longhorn environment they might become bigger without their association with IT.

      Nailin et al will suffer.

You’re giving them far too much credit. I think that was an expectation of the hire initially. They had moved beyond Elko in the search process. They were hiring Stoops.

I believe Stoops may have intended to retain the D-staff. Then, everyone mocked aggy hiring Stoops. Everyone was laughing at aggy for hiring Stoops, their fanbase threw such a fit that either Bjork panicked OR the decision was taken away from him, so they had to turn him down after he had accepted the job.

At that point, it was such a shitshow that they had to immediately hire someone else to save face. There was no real negotiation after that. They desperately called Elko and HAD to hire within an hour or two. I don’t think he agreed to their weird retention demands. He was the desperation hire. They fucked the whole process up every way possible.

Elko was their last choice, and because they fucked up so badly with Stoops, he didn’t even acquiesce to what they wanted to do. They both ate the shit sandwich and liked it.

The perception from Lucci was the job was Robinson's.  I think that us the issue.  Robinson felt he had been told the job was his after the stoops debacle and then they ended up hiring elko.

This is correct. But now there are shoes called Natives that use a similar material and style without looking like it was dreamt up by a crackhead that work well for kids. And they don't fly off.

If as a mature teen or adult you wear crocs or heydude shoes, you need to be pushed off a cliff before reproducing.

Now you know good and dang well some idiots will be wearing these at tailgates next year

As for hey dudes....its basically just an update to the boat shoe.....I think they show dirt too easily but lots of people wear em.

I've always wondered where the whole "rough, tough, real stuff" saying spawns from with them. Is that one of their goofy yells or is it something that they wrote up in a song or story somewhere? I assume it's another absurd origin story of their weird "traditions". I remember the first time I read the lyrics to their war hymn or whatever. I thought it was made up when someone posted it on Hornfans. Nope. They're just that fucking goofy.

I have it on good authority that the rough stuff real tough is part of an old cadence they would yell during PT back when the Corp was mandatory and military service was required.
