  1. I was 5 feet away from him during this yesterday. He got pissed because the rules official wasn't going to let him drop again because "we already went through this".. That's what got him fired up. What the tv coverage didn't catch after he finally had a ball in play was him berating Grellar for not talking to him before hitting his next shot. Then, he fired off the comment about not filming his shot to the crowd.. I'm done with this kid's attitude. I get the situation sucked and he was playing bad. But he needs to grow the fuck up and quit taking it out on everyone else. The only other ass hat yesterday happened to be Hossler. Petulant child..
  2. He struggled with the yips in his year at Texas, he struggled with them in his rookie season on tour (before he began looking at the hole), and he'll struggle with them for his entire career.. it's just what it is. He'll get the stroke back and he'll be fine for a while.. then they'll pop back up. I wish he would go back to looking at the hole consistently though.
  3. That's because CBS covered it.. they had no interest in being there.. and of course Faldo and crew did no research on the course and the strategy involved in playing it. Watch the Geoff Ogilvy videos on the course and see how the course plays when it's firm and fast (like it should play). They got rain, they watered the course, and the wind didn't blow.. so it was a birdie fest. Not that par means anything. Crenshaw and Coore have completely changed the game in regards to course design (Sandhills and the #2 Reno) and I hope we see more courses like this on tour in the future. It did look like a dud on the coverage though... but I blame that on the field, and the shit show that CBS has become.
  4. Is the point that you CAN wear them on the course because they're so well made? Or do they expect people to actually wear them when they play? I mean.. if he at least rolled the sleeves up and went another button deep it wouldn't look that bad.
  5. Pretty sure they didn't go with bermuda.. I think they created their own zoysia strain which is now being used all over the world. I hope it's playing firm and fast and they were just testing to see how different it might play if they were to get rain.
  6. Lurch.. you were all over the telecast on hole 11..
  7. Hope he is fine. This guy has had some of the worst luck in his life but is such a great dude.
  8. Cause he's arguably the greatest golfer to ever hit a golf ball. People like that. Gretzky, MJ, Tiger.. people like to see records broken and pure domination.
  9. Spieth -10 Spieth Woosnam Spieth +3
  10. That has to be brutal for the Poulter haters.
  11. Is Jordan the worst putter from under 3 feet of any elite player in the history of the game? I mean there have been yippers who fall off the map, but he's elite despite missing these putts virtually every round..
  12. Dude.. you got it backwards. I saw the episode with Martin Hall about this. Most strong gripped players have to rotate hard through impact in order to hold the face square. Trevino, Duval, Zach Johnson. With a weak left hand you need the hips to stop so you have time to flip it through impact.
  13. I have some MP 14's..... 2-PW. I game the MP 18's now.
  14. Haven't swung a club since November. Masters week next week and there has literally been 0 days this year that have been nice enough to play. This winter is never going to end...
