  1. I've been parking in the pink lot next to soccer/track stadium for the last ~10 years.  The lot usually doesn't have the biggest tailgating scene and has cars still pulling in when we start walking to stadium.  This week there were fraternity tailgates all over the place with giant tents and DJs.  I wasn't at Tulsa game but that definitely didn't happen in previous years.  The parking lot was packed with students hours before the game started.

  2. My wife and I had to take both cars to the lake this weekend for various reasons.  Coming back Sunday she left before me as I had some stuff to finish up.  I lost track of time and needed to know what time she was going to be home so I called to ask where she was.  She said she was on 180.  180 comprises about 80% of the 1.5 hour drive.

  3. They usually get lower the last week or 2.  If we lose to USC and TCU beforehand, you could probably sit on the sideline for $20, and call a couple of plays for an extra $10.

But if they beat USC & TCU, people could be jumping back on the bandwagon.

  4. For comps, here is my personal anecdote.  My gambling is pretty similar, $1-200/hand in blackjack, and I got the mailers for free rooms.  I was at Cosmo back in Feb for my wife's bday, and was going to be back a few weeks later for a guys' trip.  While at Cosmo I found out another friend wanted to come on guys' trip so I went to front desk to inquire about upgrading my reservation to a 2 bedroom suite.  She said those rooms all go through VIP and sent me to an office in the high roller area.  I met with a lady and she looked me and asked if I had a host and I said no.  She handed me her card and told me she was my host now.  Now I can just text or email her for any requests.  She wasn't able to upgrade me to a 2 bedroom suite, but added another room comped.  Also got us last second reservations to STK when they told us they were booked.  She has already comped me a suite for the McGregor fight weekend.

I've done the pool parties a couple of times, but never the Wynn/Encore.  I assume he was talking about Encore Beach Club, which has an actual party during the day and not the normal pool.  I just did a cabana 2 weekends ago at Marquee and there are some similarities to a strip club, but not much.  IMO the girls will be much hotter at a pool party, but will be clothed.  Your bouncer will go find groups of girls in the pool and deliver them to you.  Like a strip club, they will all act very into you as long as you are "paying" them, but at the pool you are paying them with drinks which is less creepy.  They will hang out as long as the $1k bottles keep coming.  It's also more fun IMO to hang in a cabana listening to a live DJ with a pool if you want to use it rather than sitting in a dark strip club listening to Def Leppard and Journey on repeat.

As far as what happens in the cabana, it's not going to be more than what would go on in a club.  You may get a lap dance from a drunk girl looking for attention.

  6. My wife and I went to Vegas a few weekends ago for our anniversary.  She texts me the morning we are leaving and asks if I want her to do anything.  I told her to charge one of our portable phone chargers since her phone is always dead.  I get home to grab my bag and see the charger on the counter.  It has the cable coming out of the output slot and into the input slot.  Not plugged into wall at all.

While on the trip, we eat brunch in one of the shopping areas.  As we leave she wants to go into some store.  I go in with her and as she is trying on makeup I tell her I'm going to look at the shoes.  I come back 5 minutes later and tell her I'm going to the blackjack table and I will see her there.  She asks about the shoes and I tell her they were all shit and highly overpriced.  Fast forward an hour later she finds me at the blackjack table and can't wait to tell me how she got me something great from the store that is going to be delivered.  You guessed it, shoes.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the kindness shown my wife and I today by all of the staff at Hulen Hills Animal Hospital.  We said goodbye to our beloved Bailey after 15 years when it was revealed that a cancerous tumor was inoperable and his life was at an end.  Every employee present from the treating doctor to the front desk receptionist were patient, sympathetic, and understanding in our time of grief and it made a dark day a little more bearable. This facility is open seven days a week and this marks the second pet we have said goodbye to in their care.  Really grateful as well that this was the weekend Bailey left us-we will be in California in a couple of weeks for my son's 35th birthday and it would have been really sad had it happened during that weekend.

Hulen Hills is great.  They helped a ton near the end of my first dog (also named Bailey) who got some rare spinal disorder that paralyzed her back legs.  We ended up doing the euthanasia at our house, but they were great for the last 4-6 months.
