  1. We're generally not too kind to heim lately on the Fort Worth thread, product seems to have slipped some. But I will give them credit for having the infrastructure side down pretty well and they're friendly.

One thing I haven't seen anything on, simply, how the fuck did they get so far into the caves?

If the way out is extremely dangerous and difficult, with 2-foot openings and long stretches underwater with no visibility that even the most experienced cave scuba'ers can navigate with any degree of success, how do 12 people just breeze right into it (or even if panicked with approaching waters, all go through the same Chinese finger cuff sections)?

I haven't seen anything on this.  I mean, was it as difficult (which apparently is monstrously so) to get in as to get out?  Was there almost no water in places that it's all over the place now?

This is the part I don't understand.  How the fuck did they get so far in there, navigating an apparently infinitely difficult passage?

I believe the issue is a major downpour hit, maybe the first burst of their rainy season, and maybe chased them deeper (about 50% talking out of my ass)

  3. won't you be my neighbor

always thought the show was lame AF as a kid, but this doc is worth a watch. few stories/scenes are actually pretty damn funny, come out of it just wanting to be a good/better/decent person.

Maybe for a different thread, but it's really disturbing and sad how the proliferation of effed up sexual misconduct stories from catholic church to metoo had me almost on edge waiting for some shit like that to hit, or that the thought/suspicion of such a thing even entered my brain.

  4. The filmmaker approached him as they wanted to do a doc on the American justice/legal system and how it works for wealthy ppl.  Article I read said they wanted to do the state's side as well to show the whole picture but they wouldn't allow it. There was constant concern the state would subpoena the doc footage throughout the case so the filmmaker immediately shipped it to France after every reel was completed... not sure why/how that prevented anything.

    70-3.

It was every bit as bad as ou's 77-0 thrashing of aggy.  And it was in a conference championship game.

Seven more touchdowns would have made it 119-3.  And Colorado couldn't have done anything about it.

There's no other example of a team being so completely outclassed in such a big game.

That Wisky/tOSU championship game with cardale at QB is not too far off considering Wisky was actually favored by 4.5 and it ended up being 59-0. Not quite the outright domination, but in terms of surprise factor, it's damn welll up there.
