No kidding.  I accrued a pretty good position in it and it went sideways for a while but today I’m up 10 percent and closing in on 25 percent since the original buy.

I am holding this one for the long haul.

Absolutely.  This is the start of what should be a multi-year run in UUUU.

    UUUU train starting up

Took an initial position in UUUU at $3.52 when I recommended the stock. I have a GTC order at $3.63 to triple the position in the stock. The technical indicators are starting to turn up and that could mean the correction is over. Will let you know if I reset that buy, but mos def will be buying more.  The question is where.

AMYZF is up 25 percent for me.  Hell of a recommendation there.  I am looking for a new entry point into NK, but haven’t seen it retrace for a while.

NK is in a pretty strong uptrend. The 20 day EMA is at $18.50.  Just don’t know if it will get there without a big break in the market. You might take half a position in NK so you’re in and participating and buy the other half >if< it breaks down. The stock should double this year. Maybe triple. Unless you, absolutely, need the cash, continue to hold the stock.  Re: AMYZF,  if you buy it anywhere under $1,  you should make out like a bandit.  It has mind-blowing upside.

Yea I picked some more up on the cheap after that "scathing" report came out a couple weeks ago. Trust your assessment based on how NK/UUU/AMYZF are doing.

It was a hit piece by Iceberg Research and caused the price of EOSE to take a hit.  Screw those guys.  If you bought more at a lower price, you dun good.  The only reason for selling EOSE at 28.39 was I'd doubled my money in a very short period of time and anticipated a pullback.  The stock's still a winner.  And, NK closed at a 52 wk. high today at $21.44.  Hold onto it with both hands.

@Harrison Stafford EOSE quietly redeeming itself

I sold EOSE at 28.39 and got back in with a partial position at 21.95.  Still believe the market retraces in February and will have the opportunity to add the rest of the position in EOSE around 22.  Long term, this stock goes much higher.

    News Release - February 4, 2021

American Manganese Inc. Achieves 99% Manganese Extraction for U.S. Defense Logistics Agency Wenden Stockpile Project

    February 4, 2021 - Surrey, B.C. Canada

    TSX-V: AMY | OTC US: AMYZF | FSE: 2AM

American Manganese Inc. (“AMY” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce positive manganese extraction results for the Company’s Wenden Stockpile reclamation and advanced material processing bench-scale project, funded by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Following a series of bench-scale tests to determine optimal process conditions, leach tests using AMY’s patented manganese process achieved up to 99% extraction of manganese.

American Manganese's most recent results are a positive initial step within the complete scope of the DLA project, aiming to provide a proof of concept for treating Wenden Stockpile material to efficiently produce electrolytic manganese metal (EMM). Additional bench-scale tests and reports will include unit operations for solid-liquid separation, tailings characterization, manganese carbonate precipitation, and EMM testing.

"I am extremely excited with the progression and optimization on our Wenden Stockpile project," said Larry Reaugh, President and CEO of American Manganese. "Our goal is to model for DLA the bench-scale project with consideration to a larger commercial advanced material processing facility at the Wenden Stockpile."

Bench-scale tests are used to define suitable unit operations and develop a commercially viable flow sheet that could potentially produce a strategic and domestic supply of EMM from the U.S. National Defense Stockpile in Wenden, Arizona, which consists of manganese ore mined in the 1950s and 1960s. With consideration to a future advanced material processing facility, bench-scale testing provides process flow sheet improvements that could potentially reduce equipment footprint requirements and operating costs.

    About American Manganese Inc.

American Manganese Inc. is a critical metals company focused on recycling of lithium-ion batteries (RecycLiCo™) and the production of electrolytic manganese metal from low grade U.S. resources. The recycling process provides high extraction of cathode metals, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, and aluminum at high purity, with minimal processing steps. American Manganese Inc. aims to commercialize its breakthrough RecycLiCo™ patented process and become an industry leader in recycling cathode materials from lithium-ion battery manufacturing waste.

AMYZF is one step closer to a manganese plant in Arizona.  The stock is still very much a buy at .82.

AMYZF moves one step closer toward a manganese plant in Arizona.  The stock is +.07 at .83 and is still a buy at these levels.

AMYZF.  If they get funding to build a full scale lithium battery recycling facility, the upside is enormous.  Am in with 100,000 shares.

Solid call on this one.  I sold for a tidy 50 percent profit and bought uuuu and amyzf instead.

A good move as, at this point, there’s more % upside on UUUU and AMYZF.  Still holding all three stocks and looking for a dip to add to the UUUU position.  Glad you made money.

What's the rumored timeline for getting funding to build?

My bonus comes in 3/1, and I'm thinking of going big if it's not too late at that point.

I think you'll be fine as I don't believe it will happen that quickly, but don't get discouraged if the stock continues to climb this month.  Here's what I can tell you re:  AMYZF.  They're testing the cathode reactor to make sure they can close the loop. Once that's been done, the pilot plant optimization is basically completed.  They just need to design a full scale facility with cost estimates and they should be ready to pursue funding. If EV's are going to keep expanding, battery recycling will have to happen.

  10. It was a good start to the year as the portfolio was up 20.3% in January.  The goal in 2021 is to double the value of the account.  Looking for AMYZF to get funding to build a full scale lithium battery recycling facility which can shoot the stock to double digits this year.  Re: UUUU, I took an initial position at 3.52 and have a gtc order to triple that position at 3.63.  I think it finishes the year between 8-10 and that's probably conservative.  The stock should have a multi-year run.  NK has numerous drug research studies in various stages of completion and I expect then to hit on at least one this year which will double today's stock price.  Finally, historically, February in a post-presidential election year is weak.  Look for plenty of volatility this month.

I'm not quite as balls deep but I have 4k shares at a cost basis on 67 cents in it.  This company looks like the real deal, I am an engineer but their process is way over my head.  It is a very promising technology and if they pull it off, this one is going to be a serious rocketship.

I didn’t make the investment until I had an uber smart acquaintance read the patent. He said the process is good chemistry.

I've been looking at new battery technologies but none of them seem to be ready for prime time. I did find an article from last October that lists a bunch of promising technologies to keep an eye on. The article is here: Future batteries, coming soon...

I did find two companies that are introducing products with new battery technologies but I have no idea if they will be successful.

    1) COUV - bought Carbon Ion Inc FKA SnapGo  which developed carbon ion batteries, claims to be higher density, faster charging, not going to burn like lithium ion batteries. Supposed to go commercial this year. I believe COUV has been mentioned here previously.

    2) TPII - uses super capacitors for storage instead of LI or lead acid batteries. First product is a golf cart. The innovation here seems to the the controller rather than the capacitors. Future applications could be a mid-size truck and off-grid storage.

The battery recycling companies seem to have taken off last November so I missed out on the really low prices on those plays.

Does anybody has a battery play they'd like to share?

This is not financial advice. Do your own DD.

AMYZF, American Manganese, is battery recycling, but didn’t begin a move up until Dec. 21.  It’s got all kind of upside in the EV revolution.  I bought 50,000 shares at $.53 and another 50,000 shares at $.85.  It’s currently at .74.  Above is a link where you can find what AMYZF is all about.

Be careful with UVXY.  Because of the time decay, it’s ST only.

Haven't looked honestly I'm invested to the tits right now, been carrying less that $1k available money since December. XMET almost hit a $10k first exit for me when it was peeping .009, but no go. I need to get over some catalysts in Feb to begin looking to add again. Very interested though in all of @Harrison Stafford's picks. He's a pro.

@RCRanger03 No better a stonk picker than you, my man.  Your DD on penny stonks is remarkable.

Question for the traders here. I’ve historically held the view that it’s really difficult for individuals to do technical trading (maybe with fundamental mixed in). As a result I never considered learning technical trading and trying to make decent money trading.

For a number of reasons I don’t want to get into, I’ve started thinking about doing it. What are the thoughts from folks on here? I do not work currently and not planning to for awhile. Can you make money trading?

Yes, but I only trade stocks which I’m prepared to hold as a core position in case the trade works against me.  It is NOT a fast and easy way to make money.
