ALT needs news or it's going to single digits.  The daily chart looks like a breakdown-consolidation-breakdown   The measured move target would be 4 1/2.  I have a hard time believing that, but that's what the target would be if this is a measured move.  In UVXY at 17.75. Support at 15. Target is 27-30 absent come calamity.  It's plausible we could get enough bad news to get a pop to that level.  If there is a calamity, who knows how high it could go?  This is one you need to be in before the shit hits the fan.

Out of UVXY at 18.75.  Made money and am out as I do not have a good feel for the market’s direction.  If UVXY pulls back to 16.75,, will probably get back in.

  2. Two hours from Houston and we're also getting the Titans - Steelers game.

I was surprised the Packers were favored by only 3 points.  If I was a betting man, I'd be all over that.  Nothing good can come of Aaron Rodgers vs.our defense.

  4. Got to watch the Iceman in both the ABA and NBA at Hemisfair Arena.  Attendance was spotty in those days and you could buy a cheap ticket to get in and move close to the floor with no problem.  Ice played like he was in slow motion.  He never got in a hurry.  Just an incredibly smooth player.  Those George Gervin & Larry Kenon SA teams were fun to watch.  Not a lot of defense, but, damn, they could light it up.

They’re not worried about you in the slightest. I used to give a lot more, ceased, and life goes on. If one of the big boys bails - they’re worried about that.

This action, at least, makes me feel like I'm doing something tangible to register my dissatisfaction with Tom Herman and the UT football program.  I've already let the Moody School of Communications know how I feel and have snail mailed correspondence to Jay Hartzell, CDC, and the Texas Exes.  No dough until we see Tom go.  Even if you're not a BMD, if enough people follow suit, it can make some of the powers that be and previous recipients of donations less comfortable.  That's the plan.

Getting 10 steals has to be ridiculously rare.

Indeed, but I would submit it's easier for most fans to be cognizant of any one player blocking ten shots in a game as opposed to any one player pulling off ten steals.  Blocks have a greater "wow" factor. Steals can be subtle.  In today's game, so many players try to swat a ball into the seats which causes a stoppage of action and the greater opportunity for fans to reflect on what just happened.  You make a steal and (more often than not) play continues.

Yeah, I’m sure there are bunch of Spurs fans that were at both games as well. It was pretty cool to witness them both. The Alvin one was strange because it kind of sneaked up in everyone. I can’t recall if the “Jumbotron” had a category for steals back then or if the PA addressor had to mention it. For Robinson’s, it seemed like the whole crowd was aware of what was going on and was cheering him on.

Steals aren't usually as dramatic as blocks in the eyes of the crowd.

What’s interesting about these all-time teams is that they probably wouldnt be the best versions of these teams. Since all-time teams would value scoring, you get diminishing returns on the 4th and 5th guy, especially if they’re not elite defenders or flexible in different eras.

    All time Spurs would be:

    Robinson
    Duncan
    Leonard
    Gervin
    Parker

But really you might want Bruce Bowen being your 5th option on offense so he could get in people’s jocks on the other end. Or prime Manu.

Alvin Robertson has to be in the conversation as a 5th option.  He’s one of only three Spurs to win a Defensive POY award along with Kawhi and Robinson.

  9. NK up to 9.79 with a high today of 10.17.  Volume is picking up at 1.62 million shares (thus far today) vs. avg daily volume of 1.24 million.  You can buy it and trade it at 13 -15 or hold it long term and see three digits in a few years.

  10. Bought NK at 7.35 two weeks ago and tripled my position yesterday at 9.08.  NK is currently at 9.43 and consolidating a significant move up so far.  This is a cancer and Covid-19 play.  .  NK is the company with the drug that's treating Senator Harry Reid and Alex Trebek for pancreatic cancer.  Short term, NK is going to 13 and should retest the year's high at 15.70.  Also,  holding AIM and IBIO.
