  1. This is our norm; 3 guys doing absolutely nothing.
  2. 36-38. If we don’t win this, I don’t see us winning another.
  3. BAKER! (Oops I’m not up to real time yet)
  4. Thrilled for Baker... he looks so comfortable & at ease out there, as if he’s saying, “I knew I could do this”
  5. Kubichek threw a lot of pitches, but gets out of a jam
  6. Take yer pick. A bunch of empty ones, for sure.
  7. Yes, baseball is definitely the better value. I can not fault the players; Sims has been playing with chronic back trouble. Matt Coleman bruised his heel (MRI ok). The players are trying very hard. Defensively, they do well, great effort every game. Shaka cannot control injuries. But, the season was effectively over before the injuries started. with Shaka, it’s always something. Particularly on offense. We shoot the fewest FTs in the NCAA. We’re a poor shooting team, but that doesn’t stop the non-shooters from bricking it, anyway. We are on a 3-game run vs the catfish teams of the Big-12. It will be interesting tonight to see how competitive Texas will be, with Cunningham, Baker & Williams all getting lots of minutes.
  8. At least, TCU won’t sweep Texas. But, it’s come to this, watching just to see how bad Texas basketball can get. Tip-off at 7:00 PM.
  9. Great series, even if these are Wayne Graham-less Owls. Offensively, there’s a lot of improvement to talk about. Defensively, it appears we’ve got a great DP duo, & a 3rd sacker who can be counted upon. Pierce has a lot of pitchers to sort through, but that’s a good thing. It appears we’re on our way back. I’m encouraged. Hook ‘em.
  10. UNT, 28; Old Dominion, 18, HT. thats coaching, there. Any coach in Southland would be an improvement. Shoot, Todd Duncan at Lubbock Christian would be an improvement.
  11. Let’s see, fewest foul shots; One of the worst FG% teams; poor rebounding. I don’t see how it could be much worse.
  12. No clue, just sling up a crappy looking shot. Meanwhile, Iowa St breaks, gets layup after layup. Pathetic
  13. I think so. I don’t think there’s any way this team, as beat up as it is, wins three in a row. If it does, it gives CDC the reason he needs to keep this dud.
  14. Our next three games will be interesting: @Iowa St TCU @K-St We should get two wins, maybe three. Iowa St just lost their best player, and they weren’t any good to start with. If Liddell & Williams play, and Shaka keeps Hepa from attempting treys (not happening, I think he applauds it), we should win in Ames. TCU should fall next. I don’t think winning these games will impact Shaka’s future at Texas.
  15. We have a chance to tie, or take the lead, and Hepa tries a trey. Unreal
  16. Cunningham makes a play. Defensively, good show... offensively, putrid.
  17. I know attrition dictates what we put on the floor tonight, but Hepa... sheesh
  18. Yet somehow, 14-12, with 8:00. baylor appears to be playing down to the competition...
  19. Yep, time for really bad 3-point attempts
