  1. Where the hell is this???
Flores is currently set up behind Mellow Johnny's bike shop. I stopped by the other day and had brisket and sausage. Both were strong. Certain bites of the moist brisket were very strong. Plus, Big Red in a bottle is always a nice touch. ff89254a77e61458a17ee65acad05657.jpg

I've thought about stopping there but never have. That picture looks decent.
  3. You & me both, but I'm not a breakfast guy. Check out this behemoth for lunch though ($15).

    Good lord!
  4. This was my post on the old site...
If any of you kids ever find yourself west of Bryant Irvin, just south of 20 on Winscott there's a Shell station with a taqueria inside. Had a $7 carnitas torta tonight that will prompt a return visit. It was pretty damn big, the red salsa will clear your sinuses a bit, but don't be in a big hurry.
I stand by all of it, except I went with the pastor torta this time. Messy, spicy, but good.
I need to try this place
  5. I was too. There’s really no middle ground in Wford, you go from Shep’s to Fire Oak. Don’t get me started on Mesquite Pit, that place is terrible. Vintage isn’t bad for Wford but there’s obviously better places in FW. My two favorite spots in that area are Boo-Rays and Shep’s. We honestly find ourselves heading to Rooster’s in Decatur more often than anything in Wford.
Yeah, Weatherford doesn't offer much beyond chains. Mesquite Pit is terrible but for some reason I know people that love it. We love BooRays too and eat there often.
