  1. I do not know much about the Cape, but I do about Martha's Vineyard, been there more often than I liked.  I have not been back in about 6 years so things may have changed.  We always flew straight to the Vineyard but I understand if you don't have a reservation on the ferry to go to MV from the Cape you need to make a reservation today if you are wanting to take a car.  It may be too late.

If you go to Chappaquidick there is nothing there but private homes and beaches. It is a small ferry ride from Edgartown to Chappy to and from and I think it is $5 per car each way.  There will be a line at certain times of the day so you may wait a bit.  Right when you get off the ferry there is a private beach club where they filmed some of the Jaws movie where they still today have the orange and white changing rooms on the beach. There is one beach for the lolpoors on Chappy if i recall but you have to buy a season pass I believe and you need a 4x4.  It's where the bridge is.  The rest of the place is just poison ivy and ticks.  I hated going there every fucking summer.

If you do go, Edgartown is ok, it is the Amity form Jaws.  It is a nice town, and they have some good food and shopping right on the water. Candy store and Ice creams stores lobster rolls etc, and of course the Black Dog.  The town where the ferry comes in called Oak Bluffs has the oldest carousel in the country I believe.  They have some other touristy stuff to do there as well.  Gay Head has a nice light house and some cliffs, it is also where JFK Jr washed up after his plane crash I believe.  But it is a drive to get out there.

  2. I have American Made and Dunkirk on the DVR waiting along with Blade Runner 2049, which I did not finish on a flight. Finally saw Darkest Hour and it was fantastic.  That is why I recorded Dunkirk; since it was a part of the Darkest Hour story line.
