  1. Lots of chatter about "reverse repo" by the fed heating up. This is not on mainstream media and I don't think 95% of the population would grasp the concept anyway. Anyone on here know the true impact?  I'm just seeing the doomsday prognostication on YouTube but there is quite a bit of it in the last couple of days.
Shit bro you should keep up with the gamestop folks...reverse repo, shit that was last months news... Been hearing about that since it was like at 300m what's it up to now 900m+

    Shits borked
  2. I mean, I guess GME's chart is a good buy spot if you feel like the game will continue. I feel like at some point it's going to be like owning an NFT, really cool but nobody will buy it from you. Then again, I'm becoming an old man...
    I'm a believer...the game goes on
  3. If CLF pops today and I can get up to 200$ profit I'm probably going to sell and throw it all in GME....feeling like I need more

Other than that holding my uuuu and weed stonks until they come to fruition

  4. Well, my guess is there will immediately be a host of WSB theories to explain away the vote tally, along with a few new theories to keep the fish on the hook. Its why I mentioned the comparison to Q earlier in the thread. There are simply too many unsophisticated investors that are deeply emotionally and financially invested in this idea of spectacular GME riches on the horizon. Not much will change their minds at this point.  Unsophisticated in the “retail” sense, with access to far less capital, information, and connections than wall street.
And just like there’s plenty of money to be made manipulating people who desperately want a different political reality, there’s plenty of money to be made to be made manipulating the price between $100 and $300 now that the stock has captured the fancy of the reddit crowd. If you can figure out who’s pulling the strings, you can make money right along with them. But “them” isn’t the masses HODLing on reddit.
The only thing I know for sure is that it’s CURRENTLY a shit company that is wildly overvalued, but also heavily manipulated. Can mgmt turn it around in a few years? Sure, won’t be easy, but its possible. Nothing else about this makes much sense to me, so I sit on the sidelines until I can figure out an angle. I have no skin in this game but find it to be a fascinating case study on herd behavior.

I would say the "currently shit company" is not accurate. They paid off debt, refreshed board with top talent from Amazon, chewy and announced new CEO and CFO. I would say currently they are looking pretty strong.
  5. $300 seems to be the magic number for now.
i'm under no illusions of $500k, but $500 should not be too far out of order, imo.
i bought at $252, so i'm just happy to see it back above that level. i ain't getting rich on this, it's just kind of a surreal kind of fun.
500, pfft....once the 8k comes out and we see the votes we'll find out how high this goes
  6. Got into TLRY because of Reddit.  +2.22 to $22.44...an 11% move.  TLRY did a moonshot to $148 in Oct '18.  In this environment, it could happen again.  If I can find more money, I'm going to buy more of the stock.
I've been in it...not sure if mentioned but they also announced a new medical branch "Symbios" the other day.

In other news CLF is having another nice run...after my options expired of course
  7. I’ve been trying to teach my kids investment/trading strategies. I feel like their future is fucked since this is the year of the shit-stock mega-gains.
”Here’s what you do kids, find the shittiest stocks out their, those the majority of people are betting against, and YOLO everything in hopes that these WSB degenerates agree that it sucks bad enough to be worthy of their interest. Profit!”
Or maybe it's the year of the squeezes...gamma and short

  8. How do the people that don't sell before the last short position covers cash out?
That would be problematic but you would have to be dumb to be in that spot. If you read up on other squeezes(Volkswagen, overstock, etc) you will see it's not a quick event. So you should be able to sell close to the peak, hopefully.

We will know more after votes are announced in a week or so. Will give idea to how many shorts are still floating around out there
  9. I have a question for you GME/AMC diamond apes...

I've seen people (mostly on other sites) claiming they are holding until ridiculous prices like $500K.  Assuming these hedge funds start getting margin called and forced to cover their positions and the price skyrockets, isn't there a price point where the hedge funds don't have the money to cover the positions?  If they are short tens of thousands of shares, where do they come up with the capital to cover if the prices hits $10K, $50K, $100K, etc.?  What happens then?

Next question, if all the short positions are forced to cover and the price does shoot up to $500K, how do the retail holders cash out?  Every transaction needs 2 sides, and who is paying $500K for a single share of a company not currently turning a profit?  Isn't the smart move to sell some shares on the way up, and not hold out for an astronomical price point like $500K?

Well first of all for the 2nd point...a short position has to be closed at some point. That's why squeezes work, a short is obligated to buy shares to close position.

For the first point.. Berkshire trades at 434k currently, there is plenty of money in the market to cover.

  10. UUUU +.37 to 7.40.  30 day avg. volume is 660 K/day....1.6 million traded in the first hour.  Time to get on board.  Holding 25.000 shares of UUUU at avg. price of 5.28.
Hope so, still got my calls for January and shares after reading a post in March

Also if you recall I was asking if we expect all of uranium stocks to see a bump... Dennison mines is up 22.7% this month, I might sell tomorrow or this week and take my gains as it's just a side piece
  11. So in some good international news for a change, Brazilian players have opted out of Copa America in July. So Bobby, Ali, and Fabinho will be able to start up with the squad in whatever preseason training we're opting for this year. I think it's back to France.
I hope they end up cancelling it...reading the article about it and this jumped out at me...would be 4th Copa America in 6 years...seems a bit much
  12. Baka move, selling for measly profits.
I've got all my money in BB averaged ~$15, with tons in calls for the next few weeks. I'm trying to 10x here.
Good luck...I was in since 8$ so I'll take my double up and try to get back in when whatever is going on calms down. Thing didn't move at all with all the good news months ago so I since a rug pull tomorrow or next week

  13. I sold my BB this morning, I just don't trust what's going on right now. Over 340m in volume yesterday and 500+m today???

I like it long with it's deals with Amazon and other companies, but I feel it will head back to 10$ soon so I took my profits and i'll buy back in if I get good price later
