Is didn’t hear the comment and don’t know if he said it in jest or was serious.  I know it was on accident the mic was hot.  I wonder how much fuel T-roy’s jet uses to travel to all of the games he announcesÂ

Aikman makes one mild criticism of flyovers for the sake of humor and now 60% of his audience is alienated? Man, y'all are snowflakes.
Aikman just stepped into a world he doesn’t want to be a part of.  Doesn’t matter what side he is on, just don’t talk political shit.  You’re going to offend about 50% of the people.  I guess T-roy is all in on the Hollywood deal.  What an idiot....

What do I know, but even if Urban was completely on board with taking the Texas job this season, I think it's highly unlikely CDC fires Herman after he runs the table and wins a conference title.Â

How would colo-rectal cancer make dealing with Texas football more tolerable? Â

That’s on me.  Until you posted I didn’t realize I had left the quote out.  Was replying to an earlier post - humorous in natureÂ

mcrib will be back next month.Â
May I suggest Subway’s BBQ pork sandwich ? Apparently, they only have it like every other month.  If we could get McD’s and Subway to work together and alternate months, it would make dealing with Texas’ woes much more tolerableÂ

2021 and 2022 recruiting classes being destroyed week by week.Â
Which is what’s happening right now and he’s still employed.  Reason No. 117 to fire Tom Herman NOW
-
If Herman survived last week, I don’t see how he gets fired before the end of the season.  I mean what else could realistically happen that would be any worse?  If that debacle can occur (beginning with the OU game) and a week later the guy goes to the presser and talks about the team’s improvement ?  Keeps the EOT issue as confused as it apparently has been all season.  Anything less than a major felony, I don’t see it. Â
Makes me want to throw up -

16-21, 2 losing seasons, 0-1 in bowl games
vs
27-17, no losing seasons (yet), 3-0 in bowl games
No, we are in a different territory here. Still not acceptable, but Charlie earned his early exit.
I’m fully aware it’s an iPhone. Sorry you couldn’t be a part of the Sugar Hill Gang, Masta Gee.....surely you’ll find respite elsewhere -

Has Herman had a mental break ? Â What the fuck, over ?

The Mense seems nervous and preoccupied at the presser.  I wonder what’s on his mind....

Dude - Listen to an old man......let IT go.  You’re only making it worse for yourself.  I’ve worked in the O&G business for over 40 years - local independents only, never a major -We routinely pay administrative staff (geo techs, engineering techs, etc) $75k.  All, if not most, are only  high school grads with little or no college education - that’s base salary. After 5 years they can participate in the bonus pool which is based on area ROR.....and they don’t even have to go to Texas....and work only 40 hours per week. Â

The “kicking game” would also necessarily include Dicker.  Somebody needs to tell me just exactly how bad Dicker has been.
If you want to talk about special teams and punting, that’s fair.  I don’t think Dicker should included - credit where credit is dueÂ

There’s a man who has his facts straight and provides details.  I like it ! How about Treefidy for coitch if we can’t get the Urbs?

Oh I get your scheme. You ask us all how old we are, as if you are the wise, sage old guy who is worldly and all knowledgeable, but then when you find out I’m likely older than you, have as much or more business experience than you, probably am a bigger booster than you, you run off to look for a younger person to bully. Impressive.Good......you sound like you’re about 12.  Big money wouldn’t waste their time making your argument, nor the time to defend themselves. Try a dose of humility  and maybe a little maturity....

And you would find this flight from Austin to Columbus scheduled for early tomorrow morning.Â
If you could get THAT, surely you can get tail number and find the passenger list ?  I mean, any REAL longhorn fan......

Every single person in the know, coaches and media, knows herman sucks. There are no optics to be concerned with here.Â
You hit the nail on the head.  Texas is far too concerned about the “optics”.  That’s a big reason the kids don’t perform and the staff are pussies - optics, my ass.  Optics never won a game (unless it was a misdirection play, and those don’t seem to work either)

Great news Coach Herman! The Baylor game has been scheduled for 2:30p. I know how those 11:00a kick-offs have been scaring you to death. Â
He actually did say some shit about how 11:00a kickoffs favor road teams somehow. I forget the bullshit excuse he was serious, said it between TCU and OU games, even though we are also technically a road team at OU. Anyway, I'm sure the 2:30p kickoff will favor Baylor somehow, at DKR, because of that long commute from Waco where they can get focused. I dunno. This guy is a bigger excuse machine than Mack Brown. At least Mack did it with some charisma and empathy. We knew he was full of shit, but he pretended not to be a complete and total asshole about it (until the last couple seasons). Herman went to full on dicknose mode after his first game here. Â
Thank you for using the term “dicknose”.  I haven’t seen anyone use the totally appropriate and all inclusive term in quite some time.  I was feeling ancient. Â
You are now my all time favorite poster.....with Therm and the Horns current state of affairs, I now look to Surly for my weekend warriors....

The idea that the kids are 'soft' or need to 'cut their own grass' is a bunch of machismo bullshit from keyboard warriors.  The players are fine, it is not like they were all walk-ons and didn't receiver offers elsewhere.  Swapping coordinators and systems yearly and not having an offseason to practice it.  Not getting the people in position is a problem. Not calling a TO when your defense is misaligned. When the officials are clearly calling a bullshit game, then have a paper bag, put money into it and walk on the field in front of the stands and offer your bribe to them in full view and on TV for them to call a fair fucking game.  You don't need to be a genius to play the game, but you have to know where you are supposed to be and what your assignments are.  That is on the coaches to get the players to learn by heart at all times. Â
Obviously, you missed the point....machismo? Â Ok.....
