  1. you are such a predictable bitchass motherfucking asshole
  2. Pitcher A: 171.1 IP 3.20 ERA 3.16 FIP 3.5 WAR ($36 million salary) Pitcher B: 170.2 IP 2.64 ERA 3.16 FIP 3.5 WAR ($3 million salary)
  3. Great at bat by CC. He shoved it up those asses again.
  4. I seem to remember the front office making similar proclamations of "don't worry, everything is fine" with Yordan's hand earlier this summer.
  5. Yep but I was convinced we were about to gain another game on them.
  6. Absofuckinlutely. That was terrible. Even if he was dead man running, he has to force their defense to make that play and if they throw home and he's out by a mile, stay in a run down at least. Him standing on third through all of that was stupid.
  7. Agreed because 1) he needs the rest and 2) I'd love it if he were our two-way Ohtani. I bet he throws a mean splitter.
  8. This surprises and excites me. I feel like Abreu is always struggling to find his command whenever I actually watch him pitch, but those numbers don't lie. Moar plz.
  9. Damn it you beat me to it. Came here to post the same thing.
  10. I'm pretty goddamn pumped about Y Diaz and Brown, I think they can both be impact players this month and maybe even into the postseason.

  12. Minor leaguers who have been with the org all year and were not on a major league roster at any point in the season are eligible to be traded.
  13. Today is the day Goodrum gets DFA'd imo. He hasn't played since Aug 12th iirc and the team will need at least one 40-man spot for Brown and maybe another for Yanier Diaz if he gets called up as well. One 40-man development worth watching is the never-ending saga of Josh James. He was sent on a rehab assignment last week to Single A Fayetteville, pitched well and has been transferred to Sugar Land. The Skeeters used seven pitchers last night, with Dubin starting and getting three innings of work while all the others got an inning each. The winning pitcher of record? Josh James, who pitched the 5th and went 1 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K. The Astros have about three weeks to decide what to do with him and his 40-man roster spot. No details were provided by the Astros yet. Maybe a PBTNL?
