I'm not sure I agree that this is political suicide for her.  I feel like almost everyone who's outraged about this never would've voted for her anyway.  And there are a lot of Republicans who find Trump personally distasteful, but they credit him for ending abortion and other things that are policy wins for them, so they'll hold their noses and vote for him again.  I don't see how this comment is any different.  She shouldn't have shot that dog, but at least she's right on the issues, they'll tell themselves.

Christ, it's not as if she admitted to, and joked about, sexual assault...

Donald Trump had a reality TV show that made him appear smart and strong--i.e., someone who they mistakenly thought would fight for them and win. Nobody in this country has ever heard of her until yesterday.

  2. When will Trump's attorneys argue that the Sixth Amendment requires a jury of white, six-time-bankrupt failed businessmen/reality TV stars who inherited their wealth? Will they seek an emergency stay/mandamus in the federal courts?

The way our recycling works is that if there's one piece of non recyclable plastic in the bin, then everything gets trashed.  At work, in many buildings, just watch the maintenance guys dump both the trash and recycle baskets all in the same bin at night.  Basically, if you don't stay on people, they won't do right.  Which is exactly why regulation is needed.  Greed is a crime by biblical standards, and a disease, especially when a few begin to rationalize poison for profit.

    Why do you hate freedom?

Do you know what will be AWESOME about that?  When it happens, the climate change deniers will stand up defiantly and say "SEE!  Europe is getting COLDER!  Proof that 'global warming' is a hoax!"  I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that is exactly the path they will take.  Will the rebuttal of "holy shit, you dumbasses....it happened BECAUSE of warming causing melt which caused the current to collapse" even make a dent in their stupidity?  Come on, man.  We all know the answer to that.

My father said this weekend that the snow in California is proof that climate change is a hoax.

I like how you played it the whole way.

Probably a good fold. Not too many lower limit players are willing to bluff a 100bb stack on river, and two pair almost certainly wouldn’t raise you.

Since it’s the very beginning of your session, I’d be even more inclined to fold, not having any idea if this is the rare player willing to make a bold bluff here

Yeah I don't think he was bluffing, but 888 is about the best hand I ever have there. Maybe I need to play more T-9 UTG.

  6. You sit down at a card house playing $1/$2 NLH. Full table. You don't know anyone.

Effective stack is $300. You are UTG literal first hand, and are dealt 8-8.

You raise to $8, and HJ, CO, Button, and BB call. $33 in pot.

Flop is 8-4-6 rainbow. You bet $20 targeting all kinds of shit. Button and BB call. $93 pot.

Turn is 7, bringing in a spade draw. Check or bet?

I checked and it checked through.

River is King of clubs, so the board reads 8-4-6-7-K, rainbow. BB checks to you. What size are you value betting here? Are you ever bet/folding? Is the button ever checking a straight on the turn with that spade draw?

I value bet $45 and the button jams for $227 more. I fold and he doesn't show.
