what do you mean by "you all people"

as this is the non-political news thread, for folks who have a difficult time keeping up with the news has there been any indication of when one of the trials could get underway? Quick google indicates that one of the Trump codefendants in the Georgia one just got a date set for Oct 23 - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-trial-date-fulton-county-georgia-fani-willis-proposal-october-23/ - is it at all likely that Trump's trial will start on a similar timeline?

yes and no . 1 of the conspirators pushed for a speedy trial hence oct.  a few are filing to move to a fed court  trump plans to delay and obfuscate and hope to win election .

Serious question, are you an aggy?

Your breathless defense of the law and lawyers in general sounds quite like aggy saying they never lie cheat or steal.

You talk about how only lawyers take home stress from the job sounds like aggy saying turdition and from the outside you wouldn't understand...

Now you want a thread for every trump indictment like Texags on their football board.

What's next, how you gave a visiting attorney directions to the courthouse?

If you're not an aggy, then maybe lawyers just suck like they do. I mean most jokes about professionals are lawyer jokes, and most jokes about college students are about aggy.

way too intelligent for aggy he uses commas and shit .

I don't think that's what it's about (I was making a joke earlier).  But as  you might imagine, there was manufactured outrage about the cat's answering fan mail on the government's dime back in the day apparently.

ok that makes sense .  stupid gop shit . but makes sense

If I end up having to get my car inspected I am gonna be pissed.

the emissions test is still applicable . we will no longer perform the 7$  safety portion of the state inspection however the state will still collect the 7$ . same was true a few years ago when they went to one sticker. if you look at your registration they added a 10.25 "sticker fee " to account for the the difference from  28.75$ that shops collected .

I don't understand the fanboi-ism for her.  She's not smart, she just spews syllables, and she looks as much like a man as a woman (but she's "hot" according to our surly incels).

  6. Nebraska hasn’t recruited as well as the Vols and Longhorns, but the three blue-blood programs                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   when the fuck did tennessee become a blue blood?

It’s like neither one of y’all read my post at all. People take what they want out of posts. Smokey, read my first 3 lines. WTB, read my second bullet point.

so i read your post and i can see the point you are making but the source you are using is a rag

it is a .223 cartridge, not an AR-15 cartridge.  Yay for anybody that looks to the WaPo for an authoritative source.

.223 definitely had enough stopping power to handle 3- 9 year olds and you want to condemn people for being hyperbolic ? bold

If you really did this, I salute you.  Because you also just started a movement.  I don't have any social media presence, and no followers even if I did.  But please tell me we can start some kinda organic movement using the wonderfully strong women on this site and others in our real lives.  Push out that every time you go to Walgreen's, you grab a plastic baby from the toy aisle, stuff it in your pocket, throw it in the toilet, and walk out like Boone at the Food King "Nothing for me today, thank you."  I figure there can't be more than a few baby dolls at each location.  So it'll only take a week before they catch on, but the deal is you gotta photograph it.  And that's not a crime, you can just say, "Uh, toilet was like that when I got in here...and I had heard your bathrooms were always very clean...FOR SHAME!"  Yeah, I know it sucks for the employee that's gotta fish it outta there but they won't get dirty, they got tools for that stuff.  You can't throw the baby out with the Walwater.

If you feel about the intermittent shoplifting, just bring your own toy baby doll from home.  We could probably use the wreath fund to order a few hundred at a bulk price.  I'm all for not taking unsold merchandise into the head from a grocery store because that's food, that's gross.  But a toy doll, why not? Sometimes we steal batteries, I'm an old man...I forgot.  Do you know where I live, please take me home!

it ain't stealing unless you leave the premises
