  1. I’ve always been a Sammy fan. I wasn’t so much a “Van Hagar” fan, but solo Sammy was great. He always out on a great show. I used to bang my girlfriend to Standing Hampton, so I always have fond memories of that album.

  2. It's hard to pinpoint when my feelings for Dirk shifted from abject hatred to begrudging admiration to outright joy. The dude really is a class act, and the NBA is poorer for having lost one of its greatest players.

This is exactly how I feel as well. As a Spurs fan, I have abject hatred of all things Mavs. As a human and sports fan, I have nothing for respect for the career Dirk has had and the person that he has always been. Go enjoy a nice long quiet life, Dirk.

To be fair, no one can replicate the Patriots model. Not one team. Why? They don't have the best coach and QB to be in  this game. They can afford to let go of players that other teams can't. It's not fair to point to the Patriots and what they really do when it comes to your teams. If we had Brady and Bill, we could do the same.

We will never have anyone remotely resembling Bill Belichick as long a there is still a Jones family member breathing.  Our only hope is that somehow the line dies in the next 100 years and someone else buys the team.

Yep, that's what finally pushed Tony over the edge on Chris.  Tony had tried to get him clean for years, both because I think he genuinely loved him as his uncle and because he didn't want Chris "flipping" on him over drug charges.  But seeing that Chris' problem might hurt a kid...that was it.

That plays out in one of the last, if not the last episode, when Dr Melfi is at a dinner party with friends\colleagues and the discussion of therapy from criminals and psychopaths comes up.  It was then that she realized Tony is indeed a psychopath.

  5. He had given Christopher many breaks up to that point. He sent him to rehab when he probably should have had him taken out. When they got in that wreck, Tony realized he would never stay clean and he had to go. That’s the thing with Tony. There are a lot of examples of him trying to do the right thing, but ultimately his real job made his choices for him.
