  1. I’m really enjoying Jamie Hector’s performance. The guy has range. The tension, his dread, and inner conflict all feel real.

I haven’t read the book, but Hector’s character should have grabbed a half ass attorney and sprinted to the feds to make a deal. One of the Gun Taskforce cooperating witnesses is going to throw him under the bus.

He’d have a real hard time hiring an attorney, pretty tragic story
  2. I have no idea who this dude is:

...but I hope they call him up soon, too.

New orioles catcher, very young dude only drafted in 2019, supposed to be VERY talented.
  3. Yeah click on Sunday GM show saying both teams trading from a position of strength

also that Peña is fine. Available to PH yesterday, but woke up this morning still sore/not right so sitting him out again.

Whitley is throwing live BP. They’ll be discussing him starting rehab at low level minors soon.

Wilmer Flores and Thairo Estrada would be great gets for any team as well, more Flores, he should be starting somewhere
  4. That’s either a good thing, meaning Goodrum could be gone. Or a very bad thing, meaning Peña and/or Altuve will be out for an extended period. Unfortunately, I’m leaning towards the latter.

Been watching Dubon for quite some time he’s a hell of a ball player.

  5. Was interested in this back story and read the book I got a monster by Woods and Soderberg and holy shit these guys were so corrupt for so long that it’s almost unbelievable, I have a background in Civil Service and for the most part rationally and reasonably support the police. That being said to have this level of police corruption for the length in which they had it is terrifying and for the amount of lies these guys ruined with absolute frame jobs I hope they all rot in prison. These guys crossed the line early and were 100 percent criminal for years.

  6. Billy? Billy Wagner?
    is that you?!

All the real good hard throwers have exceptional movement on their fast ball and most have nasty nasty off speed stuff, this dude throws meat, right the fuck over the plate, now he’s 98-100 consistently but zero movement, that shit gets timed quick and it’s batting practice
  7. Man Hunter Greene can throw heat, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have any movement and 99 mph doesn’t seem to matter when you groove em all right down the plate, I think he just allowed 6 home runs in 3 innings

  8. Was thinking more of a Firefox meets behind enemy lines. That was the plot of Iron Eagle 1 thanks to a Hades bomb.

Jesus I just read the Hades Bomb in Louis Gosset Jr voice, absolutely laughed my ass off.

  9. And Yordan can get forced at 2nd just as easy at Siri.  If he got to 2nd and then you run for him I wouldn't mind it as much

I think it has to do more with the likelihood of scoring on an extra base hit, Yordan is a beast but he’s slow as hell, zero chance of scoring on anything in the gap
  10. My Uncle played for Deer Park when Nolan was at Alvin. He always said that when he batted against him, it seemed that he only had to throw 2/3 the distance, because he was so tall. That and his “early-age” speed on a fast ball, sometimes erratically, made kids very “light” in their shoes and ready to bail out, instead of trying to hit the damn ball.

    Hook’em!

Just read he threw 235 pitches in a game, how in the absolute hell? Most I’ve ever seen is I think 110
  11. This was his 2nd of the year. He now has one from each side of the plate.

Ramirez is too damn good 5”9 165 stubby little fucker who does nothing but show out, offense, defense, stolen bases, that dude would lead a better team to a World Series.
